The only definition of synaesthesia I'm aware of is the perception of colors triggered by auditory stimuil (usually music). I have never heard of tactile manifestations attributed to it. Entirely possible there's more to it than I know though.

There's more to it than that. I know some people always perceive certain numbers as being certain colors and so forth. It's not limited to any one sense or pair of senses.

Here's a cool article I hadn't seen before:

Nice catch, detective left-side-of-the-bell-curve.

Also see 2a, and then stop trying to be smart.

You're dumb

I experience something like that when I listen to really good/evocative music, or in the presence of someone I enjoy. Not sure if their voices have anything to do with it, it's more so what they say..
I've never given it much thought, really. It's one of those things that happen once in a while that I just enjoy and never question.

Okay.

Its your brains response to certain stimuli that makes your "heart" warm. You heart isn't actually getting warmer, your brain is just tricking you into feeling that as a way to express a physical response to that stimuli.

Yes I know what psychosomatic means. It's just strange that there's no one specific stimulus that causes this same response across the board. It happens with different people, some of whom I don't even know.

The mind is quite random...

Though there are probably subconscious traits to these individuals that cause you to have that reaction. Its probably not even something tangible like a smell or their voice or their physical features, but combinations of those or something even more subtle.

I doubt you'd ever be able to pin it down, it might be a response to multiple triggers even.

That seems quite likely because it happened to me today, and then when I spoke to the same person later on in the day nothing happened.

It's actually just your own saliva dropping onto your chest while you're staring at the girls tits open-mouthed.
Of course it could also be lupus.
