I know u gotta pay bills and I do not know if this is what you are living from but I like my idea to apply some preassure to Phantom. If it is one thing I leanred in Canada is that Applying preassure by the masses get an engine moving.

I am not trying to stand up for anyone, but here is a little know fact to me at least.

Sander Kleinenberg & Roger Sanchez had to play at wedings and R&B music and all kinds of crap before they were able to get to where they are now and play what the hell they want.

In my opinion as an ammatuer DJ is that sometimes yes you have to play for the crowd, but that again think what you wish I am not bashing anyone neither am I standing up for anyone! SO! Think about it!

and if ur really thinking about how we dont understand ur "situation"?, ur wrong buddy cos i used to dj at parties and get paid for it, the people wanted pop and shit, so what i would do is put 1 or 2 tunes and then spin anything electronic after that ( no not gino beats) and about 5 months down the road, all the people who were at the parties i djed at, turned into Electronic fans.....

its easy to say..."Oh but they like this kind of music"
but its easier to change them

If the owner tells you to play somthing, sure u can tell him to fuck off and play trance but let me ask you this, do u honestly think youll have the gig next week? U gotta see thie picture threw everyones perspective. Sure everyone here wants more trance and hell the djs will play more trance if we get more support. ANd there is a whoel shit load of politics involved in this mo-fo so lets just leave it at that. Im sure robbie tried to fit trance into his set but u have to do things gradually, more and more each time. So all im saying is that it really isnt up to a dj to play what he wants when the owner is telling him different. Just my $0.02
