Yeah, Blair Witch Project was one of the lamest and most overhyped piece of shit movies I have ever seen, and the only thing good to come out that failed franchise is the scene from one of the Scary Movie's where they spoof that scene where she got snot running out her nose.

And the end was fucking lame too. Oh, something's in the corner? Wham on the floor. Lame.

Even fucking Inception was better than that piece of shit.

I had to go there for some conference when I was a sophomore. The original house actually burnt down a long time ago, but it's at a quasi-military academy called Norwich University I think. It was weird you weren't even allowed to walk on the grass on campus.

I saw it in the theater right when it came out and loved it. The whole campaign leading up to it was innovative and fresh. People who didn't see it until after hearing all the hype generally had a very different reaction.

LOL, maybe.

This comment and all the chat about Michael Bay makes me wonder about something: do countries other than the U.S. do "big stupid summer blockbuster action-adventure" movies at all?

I watched it on a projector at this youth club we used to hang out at one halloween. It was out on DVD so had to be some time after the the premiere. Was not wowed or anything similar. Watched it later again on TV. Still sucked ass.

Avatar had a much better story than Blair Witch Project.

Please share your feelings on VT.

And that Avatar comment was just insulting

I grew up watching slasher movies as a kid. I saw everything that came out, read all the horror magazines. Blair Witch was the first movie in years that scared me. Sorry you missed out on what it had to offer.

Ventricular tachycardia is very dangerous, and more people should be made aware of the dangers associated with this condition.

You better watch it or I'll send my civil union'd friends over to hug all your trees and eat your granola!!

Posted by itsamemario on Jun-14-2011 17:09:

Vermont has a real stand-up police force. That's about all I know.

Is that a Super Troopers reference, or are you referring to the actual issue? I've heard many stories about VT staties having some serious issues.

There's really nothing in Vermont outside of Burlington other than the nature. But the nature is pretty fucking awesome.

Thanks for informing me about where I live

Yes, that was a Broken Lizards reference. This is a movie thread isn't it?

He's shooting in 65MM Digital camera's for all the none action and dialoge scene's

Standard film's are shot in 35mm film/digital, Digital IMAX is 65MM. IMAX reel camera's are 70MM, the largest but are also so loud when running you have to edit the sound in after. The IMAX 65/70MM sizes are hugeley detailed if you watch them on an imax screen or even if you have a big monitor and watch say this clip in 1080P.

Shot with imax and it's near fullscreen detail I hate films with massive letter box top and bottom.

film will always be higher quality than digital But, it's either 65 MM film or digital having said that I will never use film again.
