am I the only one that thinks that Jesse is expendable at this point in the show??? I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jesse is done away with at the last minute of episode 5. Following the development of Skylar as Walts' wife and confidant, her accepting this role as co-villain in the series is a huge role reversal in the show. So much so, that it would fill in the rather large gap that Jesse's departure would leave. I was thinking about this and Jesse doesn't really figure into any more events in the story. Walter's issues range from telling Walt Jr. that he's a drug manufacturer, to revealing to Hank the same. I for one wouldn't miss Jesse's character. I would miss his patented "bitch" though. Might sound crazy but idk correct me if i'm wrong.

also, if you saw the trailer for episode 5, it looks like Walt has a new lab partner?? Will Gus again acquiesce to WAlt's demand? I don't think so at all.

considering what Jesse has become, I'd give the green light. C'mon the guy's got hobos in his house haha. I originally thought that the throat slash scene made his character less fragile, but I was wrong. He was severely affected by it.

i think he was more affected by the fact that he himself killed someone. simply watching the guy get his throat slashed wasnt that big of a deal because hes already been around other murdered people. and this isnt the first time jesses has been down to a point where most dont come back. remember when he was addicted to heroin? and then his chick died? i dont think hes any worse now than what he was then. if anything i think he was worse then.

no doubt speculative fiction is my true love, but i love a gripping drama as well (the wire, west wing, southland etc). breaking bad just wastes too much time on the domestic issues that are, quite frankly, rather tedious.
