1. Whats a "port and polish" mean?
2. Where is nitrous sprayed into?
3. Whats borring?
4. Whats "turbo lag"?
5. If your car doesnt have a "header" what does it have?

1. Port & polish is cleaning the intake manifold, or head, to give the hightest flow, with the least resistance. By porting, you are increasing the diameter of the intake, etc. Polishing allows the air to flow smoother, thus gaining more power.
2. Nitrious is usually sprayed into the fuel injectors. Nitrous is a gas, that can give your motor sudden bursts of power.
3. Boring is increasing the displacement of the motor itself. The higher the bore, the more power your motor will create, to a degree. Usually with boring you replace the the crankshaft with a larger one, but it is possible to overbore an engine. For example, taking a 1.8L 4 cyl motor, and increasing it to 2L, will give significant gains in low end torque, as well as horsepower.
4. Turbo lag is the time between the accelerating of the gas pedal, and the response from the turbo. Some turbos kick in at different rpm's, so for example, a certain motor may not use it's turbo until 3500 rpm, so when you stomp on the gas pedal, there is a time where the turbo doesn't kick in until that time. Also, when racing, the you might feel turbo lag in between gears.
5. If you don't have a header, you have a standard downpipe, coming off the exhuast manifold. In my experience with race cars, if you have a turbo, headers are useless. Most companies make a turbo manifold, that is part of an aftermarket turbo kit.
Anything else I can answer for you?
Next time it will cost you.
The first time is free.

Yea, those answers came from somewhere, from my head. I've been into cars too long bro. You don't even know me.

i must say, i have not been a big fan of civics (with or without mods) but this is a nice ride. i like the exterior and interior body work; the colors work out very nice.
first thing i will add to my new car (when i get one in four years) fog machine and ground lighting. some may think it's weak, but on a nicely done car such as this one, i think it adds some spark.
heh, not much of a comment, but just thought i would give ya some props for the ride.
