Just givem the ultra cold shoulder and a dirty look next time he does it so he knows its not cool. If that doesn't work call him out on it when wifey isn't around. If that doesn't work call him out when wifey is around. Normal start small and escalate process. Have you actually tried anything or just went along with it?

hahaha yeah, i should. umm well the first time it was at a bar and it happened so quickly i was kinda like wtf? i mentioned it to the wifey's mom (i know that sounds weird, but she's like my 2nd momma and i used to live with her) who told me oh it's no big deal, he was just drunk, whatever. so i figured she just didn't want to stir the pot, and i didn't either so i let it go. it just happened for the second time on saturday night. he was like the ass slapping drunk ninja i swear. we were talking, i turn to grab my drink and take a sip BAM slaps my ass and is turned around in another conversation (with wifey? not sure how she didn't see, actually). so i dunno. both times it's been when a lot of people were around, lots of drinks flowing. that's no excuse and trust me i don't want my ass slapped by married men so i guess i really need to say something. i just feel awkward. embarrassed, really.
DEFINITELY say something. I was in this exact same scenario and things greatly improved after I spoke up.

well, update. i texted him and he apologized, said he didn't mean it negatively (
