Oh wow that's fucked - I've never heard of that either - When you have the tickets in your cart and the clock is there I thought they were specifically held for you until the order expired.

That timeout thing is pretty shitty though.

The price isnt bad NOW, the problem is, that hardly anyone got tickets at that price and Im sure the future prices wont fare well for those of us who have missed out...

as long as the user has perfect feed back with more than couple of items sold, you'll be fine.

ARGGG. I didn't get a chance to log on until now. Damn they went fast this time. Hopefully the next round isn't crazy higher. First year I missed the early birds.

Posted by tubularbills on Oct-24-2011 20:44:

damn, missed them as well

Posted by xpand3r on Oct-24-2011 23:17:

I tried getting some after work and saw that they were all sold out. I really wonder how many they actually had on sale for this so called "special" sale.

Does anybody has a spare early bird ticket? If do, send me a msg ;-)

Posted by Slambeatz on Oct-25-2011 00:05:

Electric Zoo had the sickest line up last year, but there was something missing....I'm really disappointed I didn't buy the early bird last year and only went for one day, but its almost a blessing this sold out in <20 minutes....more money towards Tomorrowland!

Amen to that.

I was able to snag four. I just kept refreshing the site until it showed the option to buy tickets. I'm relieved considering how quick it sold out, I wonder how many they actually sold?

And I already have two of them spoken for, so don't ask, lol. I will NOT be selling mine to make a profit!

Ultra and Electric Daisy early birds were more expensive I think.

They were, and those I knew would sell out in about 1 minute. I bought a pair just to scalp. I don't feel bad ripping off anyone who skips Sunday School for Ultra.

Posted by Freeza on Oct-25-2011 14:03:

Actually Ultra's were $149 (Just under $200 with all the taxes)for early bird this year, not sure about EDC though.

Yeah, those were cheaper, but than again no extra fees for transportation.. I couldn't get these for that price because the site was super slow when the sale begun. Though I was able, after an hour of hitting refresh, to get a couple at higher price.. So, I lost there, but I can't complain as I got a good deal on a hotel room so it evened out, only 20 minute walk from ultra.

Yeah but I think like 50 $149 tix were on sale, they quickly jumped to $300

It really sucks that there were so few available (I'm sure high demand also played a part, but I can't imagine to that extent?) that even people who pay attention to this stuff and had their finger on the trigger couldn't get tickets. Last year I vaguely recall Made sending out a brazillion reminder emails about getting early bird tickets before they ended the sale. And I'm pretty sure I putzed around for a good week or two before bothering to buy them. I wish I'd kept those emails to see how long they were selling them.

# to your car service please

I'd rather pay that than 30$ per day for parking hehe

Wow, you're right! I recall not getting mine right away either. Totally forgot about that. They either had a VERY limited amount (to make more money?), or there is going to be a huge clusterfuck of people there this year.

They were $129 before Christmas and stayed that way for a few weeks. I got mine between Christmas and NYE while at home. I expected exactly what happened to happen this year, so I was waiting at 1pm and got mine.

Holiday ticket sale at 1pm EST today. $259 for 3 Day GA. Yeowch.

Posted by lounger540 on Dec-05-2011 17:54:

$259, 9 months away. Fuck you Made.

This will be the most reluctant purchase I've made in a long time.

I'm on 'ticket standby' WTF?!?! DO YOU WANT MY MONEY?
