itunes sells 12 million 99 cent tracks a day. Your platform is not what is needed. What is needed is a way for people that already have itunes , already have an account for them to know who to buy. That is the only problem right now.

You want to be a part of the solution, start a podcasting service via itunes that forces djs to imbed their tracklists into the podcast so that people can click when they hear something they like and wow, they just bought a track. That is what people need. Not another fucking store. That would single handedly boost sales by 50%. Those are real ideas with obvious revenue streams and I just shat that out. Now run with it. But what ever you are thinking of, trust me, you are wasting your time. Unless your goal was to get all the shitty producers and have them under 1 roof where they get 80% of all the sales. Wow, you've just like made my 30 cents into 40 cents. Fucking brilliant.

again not for Raphie and his mediocre cohorts but for those that sell but could sell more.

I wasn't really making a super topical comment. But ya, I agree with what you're saying. I guess my point is if young people, say Kysora who is like 20, keeps believing in himself, then he still has a chance despite currently not being great.

I'd like to see a movement to get iTunes and Amazon to offer CD quality files. If they did that and added better genre features, they would probably put Beatport out of business.

why do you think VEVO exists, Because for some people , youtube is good enough. Yes, they should offer this, they should offer alot of things like normal mixes, club mixes , stems ....

but this is stuff you sell on your site as you funnel people there. You can't expect Itunes to cater to the 1%

Maybe, but their market size is such that they can already afford to put up music that only small niches of people care about (the whole "long tail" phenomenon). And with their infrastructure, hosting WAV downloads would be no problem.

I don't think BFs comparison was being jaded per se, I think he was just trying to make a brute force comparison that one was ready for prime time and the other was still lacking - the difference being in the details. In other words, a compare and contrast kinds thing.

the fact that I have you angry shows your conviction. That should make you smile. If you actually really did believe in yourself. So not only is your idea shit, in my opinion, but you don't even have the fucking attitude to take the shit and just smile as you know that it will work. And i can tell you right now, sharks are born swimming and you float around like a pretty little starfish. I honestly don't get it dude. Really, I don't think that the tracks from Blueman and Kysora are all that different, composition-wise. Of course, Blueman's track is about twice as loud and has four times the bass, and I guess that will tend to impress shallow people, so there is always that.
