It was almost like he ran out of songs to play in his set and stopped mixing and started playing those. Scratch him off the list of someone id ever care to see again.
This is Why you get to the Club at 1:30AM hahaahahha....
Emery Had the Crowd Going for sure, but his Tunes still sounds Mainstream to me, even if a little Catchy. TinieTempah probably helped to increase the crowd he was playing for. I know all those Vietnamese people Like House over Trance hahahah....
Dirty South played an Energetic Set, but still, had this "commercial/mainstream/fluff" sound to it still. I guess because of all the builds and drops and less progression. Whatevs..
Markus Schulz started of His Set with a BANG (I love Ferry Collabos) but as soon as he started getting all vocal, it was time for another Splif/Blunt and some House.
I must say, the highlight for Sunday was FUNKAGENDA!!! When the Smoking Crowd is still Jamming Hard to the Beat You Know its some FUNKY TUNES!!! NOBODY LISTENS TO TECHNO SO LETS GO!!!
My friend whom I brought for the First time had an AMAZING Time....So Amazing in Fact...
...That after Showing him EDC Vids he wants to go to Vegas!!!

Did anyone scan the QR Code on the screens which appeared periodically when PVD was spinning? What did it go to?

My friend was calling out to him when he was shaking hands with the crowd that it should be on Global DJ Broadcast this Thursday and Markus replied "I did record the entire set." Who knows if it'll come out, I'm hoping he releases it online cuz it was pretty freaking amazing. |

Does anyone really think a dj is forced to play tunes like that? No. It's the dumb dj thinking they're being great.

| Originally posted by I_Am_Vince I owe an apology to my New York fans. The original plan this weekend was to record the Scream release party set from the Best Buy Theater, to air on GDJB this Thursday. Due to circumstances beyond my control (which I only found out about a few minutes before beginning my set), we were unable to capture a recording of the night. So my apologies to all of you who attended the show and had hoped to relive it again through GDJB. I will do my best to make it up to the NY family soon. The World Tour will go ahead however, featuring my set live from Labour of Love at the Koolhaus in Toronto on Sunday night. Markus |

I spur-of-the-moment went with a friend on Saturday night around 2. I figured if I were to go out that night, it would have been to see Maya Jane Coles at Footwork, but for some reason, we felt the energy of Guv calling our names. It had been a long time since I stepped foot inside the venue and much longer since I've heard any good trance live.
I can't believe I didn't know that Jaytech was playing Labour of Love. He's the DJ I most want to see, but I didn't realize he had an 11:30-1:00am set time until it was too late.
Fortunately, PVD and Ferry did not disappoint. PVD was so much better than the last time I saw him, playing a much more melodic set with a nice variety of tunes. Ferry came on and was playing really trancey to start--much to my liking--but then the sound cut out during his second track. After he sorted out the issue, he started up again with a less trancey sound and never really returned to the vibe he opened with, but I thought it was an amazing set, nonetheless. Unsurprisingly, the crowd cleared out once Ferry hopped off stage at 5:20, which left a ton of space for dancing. Mark Oliver was playing some phenomenal beats--really driving, slightly techy trance. I think he would have played the set of the night for me had it lasted longer than 25 minutes. At about 5:45am, the Kool Haus closed and we were forced into Guv. Only lasted about three minutes in the sardine can. I think it was Hardwell who was playing. Admittedly, I didn't give him much of a chance, but during the three minutes I did give him, I wasn't impressed in the least.
Departed just before 6, and I am so happy I went. Awesome experience. Would have loved to see Markus and Funkagenda Sunday night, but didn't want to switch into a nocturnal sleep cycle.
Well helllloooo
