Nico Jaar again

I think Nico Jaar is as good as any to be up there... what he does is original and pretty unorthodox. (I also am a fan of Guti, very cool dude got to meet him at EZoo last year, so I'm happy to see he placed high).

I met Barbara Streisand once, and that bitch didn't even have the decency to place.

I actually don't generally mind the RA list music wise. There's certainly worse out there.

It doesn't matter what genre any of them specifically play. I used techno because it's the most convenient umbrella term. Fact is, a majority of the acts on that list play boring fist-pump shit which is probably actually worse than trance in terms of its similarity and lack of creativity track-to-track. Loco Dice, Carola, Buttrich, Luciano, they're all in that same box (i.e. I like to create constant arbitrary bass drops to make this boring beat more interesting). Maya Jane Coles and the others are shit for different reasons, as you well know.

Liebing...yeah I suppose he probably isn't quite as bad now that I think about it.

they are all in the same box because buttrich ghost produces most of their music.

maya is shit because she is like nina kravitz without the cool bf.

But for the record, Jaar is an overrated ****bag, anyway.

i can live with that. if you have the chance go see frivolous.
