Not sure why you guys don't just add actual cameras in place and use the audio feed so that you get videos with the music mixed with the live feed, and footage of good looking people. And i know there is this unwritten rule thing with house and lasers but that rule also applied to the no glowstick rule and the people at circus dont follow that rule and your format is not really the sort of house one would apply the no lazer rule so it kinda makes me wonder why you don't have lazers. Maybe not for this guy but you would be surprised how a nice lazer configuration will justify ticket pricing. |
Can someone id this track??!?! PLEASEEEEE
When you find out, lemme know
Leftfield - Song of Life (Betoko Remix)
All time classic
Can't really write a review for this, you just had to be there. Couldn't leave the dancefloor for a minute!! Felt like he could read in my mind and up/down the tempo depending on my mood, it was 6 hours of pure magic, best journey I ever witness live.
track of the night for me :
Not much to say about this night. Best set I ever listened to live, this guy is like the wine, he just gets better with the time.
What he played in Toronto was outstanding, but his set at Circus was something else.
Already looking forward to his return.
Travelled from Halifax for this and it was totally worth it.
First time a Circus. I liked the club. I've been to Stereo a few times but never to Circus.
Really fun night.
Was his set recorded??

skip fw cuz, really? Set was such a thing of beauty, never had heard anything like it, the first few hours was like travelling through the modern interpretation of Brian Eno's Music for Airports

| Originally posted by Fran666 unfortunately no, he didn't want us to record the night since he wanted to play his new material from an upcoming album. |
Had a great time, once again.
IMHO his set was much better than the one he played last year, since the programming was awesome this time around.
The simple fact that I had the chance to hear him play the Guy J remixes of Way Out West - Killa and Secret Cinema & Roger Martinez - Menthol Raga back to back made my night!
For those of you interested in what he played, here are some of the tracks that I have spotted:
- Way Out West - Killa (Guy J remix)
- Secret Cinema & Roger Martinez - Menthol Raga (Guy J remix)
- Khen - Haziness
- Quivver - The Fog (Cid Inc remix)
- Depeche Mode - Soothe My Soul (Matador main mix)
- St. Savor - Mysterious Russian Souls (Petar Dundov remix)
- Guy Gerber & Clarian - Claire (sounded like the Guy J remix)
- BP - Inspirado Por Usted
- John Creamer & Stephane K - I Wish You Were Here (Lonya & Roi Okev remix)
- Muzarco - Romozio
- Guy Mantzur & Sahar Z - Dreaming In 3d
- Uner - La Playa, Part 2
- Butch - Dimensions
- Daniel Dexter - Why So Serious? (think it was the Uner remix)
- Bartok - Cherries (Nick Devon remix)
- Nir Shoshani - Sinai (Muzarco remix)
- Doomwork - One Religion (Alternate mix)
- Chaim - Social Assassin
- Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile - Citycism (Richie G remix)
- Unders - Evenin Feelin (Edu Imbernon remix)
- TJ Kong & Eric De Man - Duidelijk
- Echomen - Perpetual (Guy J remix)
- Deepfunk & Guy Mantzur - The Mind Palace (Sahar Z remix)
He also played what sounded like a new version of Guy J - Sahara.
The crowd was great too. Most of it was there for the simple fact that it was Hernan and seemed to enjoy every bit of his set.
