Congratulations to you both. Marriage is, regardless of what many say, a great manly step to take which brings many blessings and, of course, unlimited sexual favours. While there may be some challenges along this road of matrimony, remember that those will only make the relationship more solid (solidder? WTF?).

Cheers!

Very unlikely. We've been living together for the last couple of years, and it didn't have an impact on my presence then, I doubt it will make any difference now.

As a matter of fact, it's just a social thing. For all I care the most important day of our relationship began when we both decided we'd be together, 9 years ago. Since then we've had a long distance relationship that lasted 30 months, lived together for 20 more months (or so), and had a normal relationship before that for a number of years.

Throughout this time she's constantly pulled me up, and I wouldn't be the person I am without her support. I can only hope I've been doing the same. So, for all I care, this wedding means very little compared to the days that have passed - the only difference is that from now on she gets to have my surname, and I'm going to take hers

More solid. As a rule of thumb, you add -er to monosyllables.

(I wish monosyllables in English were as easy to spot as it is in our languages though )

Thanks for the advice, by the way

So this happens soon!
Good luck buddy
don't fuck it up

Parabens cara! Tudo de bom.

Posted by Lira on Dec-23-2012 18:56:

Valeu, woty!

Well, I guess this is my last post as a bachelor. I've just finished rendering the soundtrack for the ceremony, and I'm transferring it to two iPods, in case anything goes wrong.

Sorry, Wiener, no fatty boom boom this time. Just downtempo muzak

Thanks

Well, it was quite nice: The legal proceedings didn't last more than 10 minutes, and there was plenty of food and liquid drum'n'bass (so much so that you'd be excused to believe the event was sponsored by Hospital Records). And pictures, there were tons of them.

But I really wish getting married was as easy as changing your status on Facebook. It's not easy to organise an event like that

Posted by on Dec-24-2012 19:18:

Oh shit you already had the wedding. I wanted to come.

Posted by Nrg2Nfinit on Dec-24-2012 19:44:

You forgot to mention sneakers!

Posted by Lira on Dec-24-2012 22:03:

Haha, it should go without saying

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Dec-24-2012 22:55:

I saw them. They were glorious.

Posted by stren on Dec-24-2012 23:00:

Yeah Hal, but have you seen attack ships on fire...?

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Dec-24-2012 23:06:

I've seen shoes you people wouldn't believe.

Posted by wotyzoid on Dec-24-2012 23:20:

Please don't tell me you wore chucks to the reception, Marcus.

Congrats Lira

Thanks

For those interested on the soundtrack, I posted it on Facebook (it's mainly my computer rendering the piano and the strings with a spastic drummer in the background).

I didn't. As a matter of fact, I never did. With one exception (when I the bride said she expected me to wear Converses) I never wore a single Converse to a wedding... although, due to an unexplained memetic mutation, people have come to believe I did.
