last night was when everyone was expecting them to play especially since they are friends with Phoenix who closed the main stage... and who they did their last live appearance with 2-3 years ago at MSG. Didn't happen... instead Phoenix bought out R Kelley instead lol.

best coachella yet

really bummed about missing purity ring (by choice, but i was fucked up at the time and regret it) and richie hawtin (he played a 1.5 hour set on sunday to make up for saturday but it conflicted with both rodriguez and pretty lights so... sorry richie ). I was in the very front when he was supposed to go on and made a ton of friends on the dancefloor, and they all left 30-45 minutes after he was supposed to go on everyone was so stoked to see him too, a HUGE disappointment.

the new tent (yuma) was amazing. it was essentially a club within a festival. the only downside was no water or bathrooms inside, so you'd have to leave and get back in line (there wasn't a line at certain times)
