Haha I posted this in the event thread wondering the same thing. If it's not this party, i wonder what else is in the works for that day

If you haven't seen K&A go to it. I'm not going because the lineup is weak and doesn't really justify me spending a bunch of money to park, drinks, and etc.

My point about the DJ's you guys are getting is that in the past few months and upcoming you have talent rolling in. We are lucky to get one person a month and even then it's the cheesy guys that honestly don't play Trance at all anymore. The glaring difference between NYC and Miami is the promoters. Esscala works hard and brings Kearney and the such. I don't know what the promoters are up to here in Miami but it doesn't seem like we get any variety except for WMC.

I'd deal with the teen crowd for most anyone but not when I can easily avoid them at WMC. And, yes, there are I've seen some really stupid adults (Space) but it's definitely not as bad as at the 18+ events. Had a guy share with me he was high as hell on blow, I said cool and he didn't bother me one bit after that. Can't say its the same for an idiot rolling balls and falling all over the place.

Yeah esscala is setting the bar pretty high for trance...less then a year into having them here throwing events and hopfully not going anywhere anytime soon. Itll be a while before the other promoters follow suite though because theres easy money in big names and other genres...but youre right, at least we have them, and they are throwing a lot more shows now so we are pretty blessed.

Hopefully Miami and other places will be able to follow ...sooner rather then later....I see people like esscala being able to grow to places other then just NYC
