whats re-play records like, just placed an oreder for 6 tracks, should be expecting them to day or 2 morrow

replayrecords.com? They buy and resell records so your record might not be in the newest condition. It's all scratch free but it's not brand new either. Their shipping is VERY expensive to the States and it takes a while.

Cause I can't edit my post after a current amount of time. Some day soon, I'll grab an admin to help me edit it.

Does anybody know any record stores that except Pay Pal????

Posted by DaveSZ on May-20-2003 07:02:

If you buy from an individual, you can send them money via paypall if they have an email address. That's how I bought a record from a DJ in NY.

Anyways, Euromusicworld sucks. They don't have anything in stock (even the ones that say in stock), but at least they have nice customer service and gave me a refund.

almost every website everyone listed don't have the records in stock like they say... Buying records from the internet blows.. too bad I have to.. cause the only record stores in my area are smaller than my bathroom..

the only good site I can say is http://www.satelliterecords.com

wow...im shocked to see "http://www.superdance.com/" on this list...its less than a mile from my house...never knew they sold over the net though...they are REALLY great guys and they run a great store...sorry for the plug, but just had to give my 2¢ on the matter...considering some of you who order from there are probably getting some vinyl ive listened to in the store

yeah but that comes with the territory...i can only assume that 90% of the vinyl ive bought over the internet OR in store has been used/listened to, UNLESS its in a plastic wrapper..which doesnt happen very often...

I must say that im very pleased with Chemical-Records.co.uk.

their shipping is extremely fast! 3 days from the UK to my house in VA. plus they have a great selection for old and new stuff and they only list items in stock and they update everyday.

Question: how good is Juno? how fast is their shipping (from UK to east coast US)? Do they list instock stuff only?

Also has anyone used Musicselection.com? i stumbled upon and it seems they carry everything in the world there. does anyone have any complaints or praises for this site?

They totalled screwed me. I placed an order with them almost 6 months ago for 4 vinyls, totalling 60 USD. I have recieved one of them and the other three have been declared as permanently out of stock. Ive emailed them several times and have recieved NO reply.

just wanted to let you guys know, PlanetX has very good service, but some of the 20 records that i have ordered from them over the last year have been either bent, scratched or just plain warped. i didn't bother trying to send them back (would've just cost me more money). other then that they have good service. The only other thing that sucks is that i had forgotten one album from my list, and they wouldn't add it on, so i had to wait till i had another order to get that album. also they have a $40 USD minimum, something called PXCVVP or something like that, it's explained on their site. also wanted to give a big thumbs up to dancerecords.com, i ordered 2 albums from them about 3 days ago, and they're already here.

one more thing, there's a place called www.musicstack.com, it's like www.gemm.com, but i believe they deal mostly with used to records, and hard to find records.

Also a big thumbs up to replayrecords.com, they had 3 records that i couldn't find anywhere else. i.e. katana - silence (arctic mix), tin tin out - trance with me (dumonde remix), and members of mayday - 10 in 01 (pvd mixes) and they were all in pristine condition when i recieved them.

also, i have found a lot of good deals on eBay.com. like i just bought kaycee - escape, and cosmic gate - exploration of space for $20 + shipping. And a lot of people on there are selling their collections as lots. just recently i bought a lot of about 70 records for $140 including shipping, and about 90% of the records were in excellent condition.

just thought i'd pitch in my two cents...
take care
