I've never bought an Apple product, ever. I've always had a PC and used a portable mp3 player or walkman for music.

I'm actually not a huge fan of cats but it's probably because my cat sucks and my dog is so awesome.

Lol, is he still being a dick to Taylin?

Posted by srussell0018 on Oct-08-2013 17:36:

Kind of. Taylin doesn't really mess around, and she usually instigates everything, but he's just acting like neurotic. He has a ton of toys and scratching posts and a tower and everything, but he'd prefer to scratch up my $1000 leather chair or the carpet or anything but what he should be scratching. We're seriously considering giving him up.

I think dogs have historically been much more useful to Mankind, but in a post-modern world cats might make better companion pets.

I can't vow for that though, because I've never owned a cat.

Posted by Intellekshual on Oct-08-2013 17:44:

Sounds like my cats. They have toys and scratching posts but they prefer scratching our couches and carpets. That's why we don't have leather anything. I really don't care though, I'd never give them up.

Have you considered Feline Soft Claws? They're nail caps, even if he scratches stuff, it wouldn't damage it.

Posted by srussell0018 on Oct-08-2013 17:51:

Well It's my fiance's cat, so you should tell her that lol. He's just a weird cat. Doesn't eat treats, doesn't pay any attention to catnip. He's always just either meowing endlessly or sleeping.

Actually, in the spiritual vacuum of postmodern existence, dogs are pretty much the only remaining source of unconditional, heartfelt sentiment that we have. When a dog loves you, you know about it, and when a dog hates you, you damn well know about it.

I love cats, and my friend got a kitten a few months ago which has really reminded me how amazing cats are, but a radio advert for sponsoring blind dogs this morning cemented something for me. Millions of people all over the world depend on dogs, have their lives immeasurably improved by dogs, and these animals happily give their entire existence to helping another living thing, not even from the same species. That's fucking incredible.

Posted by srussell0018 on Oct-08-2013 18:39:

Agreed

Posted by Intellekshual on Oct-08-2013 18:45:

I can't wait to get a dog, we're thinking of getting a Shiba Inu.

I guess I'm like a dog then...

No offense but i think he's wrong. Same principle applies to a kitten.
