If you're an old virgin, you deal with MORE emotional crap. You realize your worthlessness, the fact that you're a loser.

Yes, there is something wrong with being a virgin -- and I admit that I am (recently turned 22). You lack experience, you're too timid around girls, you have little social confidence. These things are usually related.

And I'll be the first to admit that I have these issues. But you want to know the truth? I just haven't met the right girl yet -- and I've never had a real girlfriend. I had a chance to lose my virginity to a slut -- yes, I had it, but I didn't. Who would respect himself after this? This would have been a terrible "first time." If I were to look back on this as my first time, that would make me feel even more worthless than I feel now.

So, what's better: The feeling that you're a loser because you're still a virgin at 22, or the feeling that you're a loser because you had your first time with a dirty slut?

Not that there's anything wrong with sluts or "easy" girls... I feel they're an important part of society (and plus, there are girls who simply love and enjoy sex, and this is great -- but for some reason society labels them as sluts; the one I was talking about, though, was a real slut).

but also the problem is that people in sociey don't seem to care that sex is really best served between two ppl who are married. I think it comes to down to purity, do you want to remain pure for your future mate or not. When I saw 13, i signed a card that i still carry in my wallet to this very day that I pledged to remain a virgin till i get married. It's honestly comes down to personal choice but also culture is very different since we have so many ppl from around the world on this messageboard. Certain cultures, it is common to wait till you get married, some cultures it is not common. I take this into consideration everytime this topic is talked about. Certain religions say you must wait till marriage, certain ppl don't. So my advice is always think ahead before you do something....because every action has some consequence whether we see it now or 10 yrs down the road.

23 days away from being 20, still a virgin, i had a chance to lose it before, but i didnt want it to be some slut, so yea, whatever, i dont care, besides it will happen when it happens

No offense -- and I respect your choice -- but I disagree with this most strongly. I see absolutely no reason why a person should deprive themselves of such pleasure as sex, as long as it's safe. Besides: It's all part of growing up and gaining experience, not only sexual but also social.

do you really believe that, along with the advice of the church, you were ready to decide such a thing at the age of 13? you were still just a little kid, and im not saying one way is right or wrong. its just that when I was younger all I ever heard was stupid scare tactics about sex. sure, you gotta be careful - but when youre younger, everyone is more likely to be 'pure' rather than waiting until you are older to bang where there is a higher likeliness of someone having STDs, etc. i also understand it goes beyond that when religion is involved - but a virignal, married couple is gonna have some bad sex|

Yep.like Eugene here,I also had a 1-time chance to lose my virginity to a slut,it's the only slut I've ever seen in my life,my friend invited her to his house and did the thing with her,while I was guarding at the window,if in any case his parents gonna show up.
This slut is the only girl so far,that I've seen totally naked standing 1 cm away from me,and damn I had to restrain myself from fucking her.It was hard but my common sense won,as I didn't want to make it with a slut for the first time,although she was so damn hot.

Disagree with you mate. I mean, I'm not shy with girls, because in my opinion, the worse thing that may happen is to listen to the word "no" or something like it.

The reason I'm a virgin is because I've never been much time with someone I was in love with (I've got a very unique story actually) and I don't feel like doing it with many people - I think that's something too deep and meaningful to be shared with few people and it should show how special she (or he) is to you. Let's suppose I start to have sex right now, at the age of 19. I'll meet lots of other girls before I get married and, when it comes to the fact that I'll be with someone I truly love, what will be different from the others? I don't know, maybe I'm overrating it, but I want it to be as special as possible. I know I sound like an arse, but that's the way I think.

By the way, I never thought there could be so many +18 virgins here, I thought it wasn't so common

I too was the same about my first time. I really wanted it to be with someone i cared about and i eventually did at 19. But this girl didn't like me as much as i liked her and it was pretty sorry sex. In fact neither of us came because i was nervous and i liked this girl a lot

So looking back i wish i'd just found some girl i wasn't worried about her feelings so much and just got it over and done with and taken my experience gained and found the girl i liked later

Lost it when I was 14 with a girl that was a virgin also. We kept talking about it for a while and then it just happend a couple of months later. Do I regret it? Nope. Here's why.

- Expierience it while you can because you never know what will happen to you tomorrow. Live life to the fullest and expierience as much as you can.

- It was good to expierience

- She was beautiful and she wasnt just some slut

- There's a big difference between casual sex and having sex with somebody your in love with. In a way you still get the loosing virginity feeling all over again when you have sex with somebody you love.

- Be Safe & Cautious

I still bump into her every now and then. We dont really talk or say anything to eachother when we do see eachother, but thats since we were both really young when it happend (I think she was 13 at the time). It really awkward having sex with somebody even now and when the relationship ends you still have the awkwardness sometimes depending. Things change and people change.

Dont look at things one sided when you think your ready to make that choice. There's alot of people that wait until there married for sex and end up getting a divorce. Same thing as if your in a relationship with somebody and you do it, and you break up.

Sex can either make or destroy relationships. Sometimes it brings people so close and they love eacth other alot more than if they didnt have sex. Sometimes you have sex and you dont want anything to do with the partner anymore. It may seem irrational but thats how things are. Its always good to be expierienced so if that right person comes along you know what your doing.
