No matter to me. Sunday at Space for WMC is a tradition for us at this point.

He was just very recently at Trade, so yes that is believable. I've heard he won't be in Miami in March.

Any reason behind this thought? I know Adam usually has announced it early in the past years. Curious as to whether a different previously existing party like Pryda or something will move into that slot or something different altogether.

This relates back to what I said last year after conference/mmw. Expect a lot of people to stop making the trip to miami because 1. it's expensive as fuck 2. BPM is 8 weeks earlier 3. SXMusic Festival and 4. business dealings happen at ADE and IMS now. There are plenty of other party weeks around the world.

Everyone called me foolish thinking Miami is dying for March but that's what's happening. Enter is out, Diynamic is out, Drumcode is out, Ship of Fools is out. I can keep going. I don't just think of this stuff in my head and spew out nonsense, this is coming straight from agencies and artists, saying Miami is too damn expensive with all these other options available.

Certainly not foolish, i think everyone was just hoping it not be the case. It seems at least thus far more prevalent than last year if Drumcode departs as well, guess will have to see what else rolls out.

On another note, Ricardo is tough to judge from gig. He can be musically all over the place and very sloppy mixing especially depending on the condition he's in which is well documented. I've seen him twice at Cocoon, once fantastic and once horrible, and at Time Warp in NY this past November he was fine and far less sloppy than i think most expected.

Damn he was sloppy as hell and could barely put a beat together in the second half.

i would like to finally catch him in person also but theres just too many conflicts at time warp so i never even made it in his room last year. hopefully this year is a different story at his time slot.

if Carl cox b2b with capriati peaks your interest, get to that room early! last year we ran to our locker quick before just carl cox and it took 20 min to get in so many people were flooding to catch his 3 hour set. this year will definitely be worse now. the nice thing is that they wont overfill the rooms either. as people leave, they let more in. very well run and organized.

Yea that booking really has my eye as well. I'm not to stressed about getting to places on time there, perks of working in the industry lol. Really looking forward to see what the morning portion is all about. Heard nothing but great things about.

I should specify by far less sloppy, I meant the state in which he was in, his mixing is always pretty sloppy and was pretty much on par with that at TW Ny.

Man we were just talking about this party over the weekend. That last year was to much fun. Solomun at noon in that parking lot.

Soul claps house of efunk is closing Sunday @ the pickle. Getting tickets for this. Black Madonna, Troy humphries and more tba. gonna at least pass by as its right across the street from where we are staying.

This funk\soul movement is very refreshing. So tired of all the typical sounds that everybody is playing.

That movement has been happening for years, glad people are coming around to soul clap. Crew Love still one of my favorite parties ever. The music at those jams are so good.

This will be my first year missing crew love the past 3.

They just released tickets to the efunk party. HUGE names gonna be there, tons of Chicago soulful house dj's. Might be the sleeper party of mmw this year. Presales were only 10 bucks!!!!

Check out Ed The Spread. He's one of my favorite producers at the moment.

I didn't realize that was only $10, considering crew love is like $45, 10 is a steal. Loving Black Madonna right now she is absolute tops.

black Madonna has been on fire. It blows my mind she doesn't really get any love in the USA, she is HUGE in Europe. IMHO crew love is over priced this year, if I was in town fri early night I would probably still go though.

I've only just seen her the first time down at BPM and it was a very early set so it was relatively low key. But she gets tons of love up here in ny, she seems to be here every 3-4 months or so. THE AYLI San Fran set on soundcloud b2b Mike Servito is fantastic.

Posted by ucforange on Feb-05-2016 19:43:

Speaking of Black Madonna and Mike Servito, I get to check them out at a Resolute warehouse party next weekend in NYC. Honestly looking fwd to Servito much more than BM - that style isnt my cup of tea- but I know people rave about her sets. Will have an open mind.
