According to Jono this project is from the 3 of them:
"POS is Paavo's project, and Albinoni the three of us"

hehe...one thing is clear for me:
POS - Remember (Summer Sun) is my tune of the year 2002 )

I talked to Paavo lately about this tune and an interessting thing is that he made it on his PowerBook in Logic Audio only (which means without external hardware). Therefore I believed such quality can only be achieved by hardware synths hehe.

I know both Paavo & Jono from RL a bit (went vinyl shopping with them in London some time ago)

It's Rollerball - Albinoni
Why do you think its Barber's Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Its pretty obvious that aint it
Just listen to both tracks... not too hard to hear the difference
and yes the tracklist is finished after you replace that

Indeed I heard PVD hammer this over the Summer, and it has A&B elements and certian sounds within it. I Agree Awesome Tune 4 2002

why is it pretty obvious???? i saif i heard it on Paul Okenfold from Bloomingdale... And why would they name it the writer of the classic tune instead of the name??????

have u heard Rollerball - Albinoni?
cuz Barber's Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix) is the one i heard in Oakies set and its the excact same as number 8

peace

Then you need a hearing aid. Its not exactly the same. It is very similar, Ill give you that much, but it is definitely NOT the same.

Cow: Are you kidding?
Track 8 is NOT William Orbit - Barbers Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix)
It isn't even similar..

Well I have heard Rollerball...
but I havent heard the Oakey set
Maybe Oakey played Rollerball there and it was wrongly ID'ed back then
But try downloading the Ferry Mix and listen to it without taking it from the Oakey set... you'll hear its not the same as the one on the A+B set

I listended Oakies set and there is William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for strings (Ferry Corsten mix) with some vocals in this set..
Totally different from Rollerball - Albioni

Posted by Cow on Nov-17-2002 15:10:

i guess im wrong since u are so sure that its not Barbers adagio(FC rmx)

peace

Oakenfold plays

Unknown - Murder [White] in that set. It's a bootleg between William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix) and Skip Raiders - Another Day.

The two are completely different. Albinoni sounds much more like Ligaya to me than Barber's Adagio.

Whatever it is, it's amazing. Hands in the AIR MASSIVE BREAKDOWN!

Track 8 is Rollerball - Albinoni(Super 8 Remix).

I know this is really old set, but no one ever confirmed it =P.
