I don't think a midi is required for this particular track. All the remixes I've heard only used the vocals not the actual melody, which isn't too thrilling anyway. So be free and create your own melody to fit the vocals!

the limit was 20 contestants. your #21. i put you on the list anyway cos i don't think it really matters anymore.
Also, if you could please give us your artist name, or at least a different name then marco.V, cos that would be too confusing for a lot of people in the end.

ok, thanks. i'm sure we'll find a solution. we have almost 2 months to sort it.
even if everyone could just send the tracks to you, then you could rearrange them with some numbers. then other people could help co-host the tracks.

I have a question about the judging. If it's supposed to be a poll, who are eligble to vote. If it's not supposed to be a TA pole then what is it supposed to be then? I agree that a pole on this site would be very biased, but are we going to find enough people outside that will listen to all the tracks and are able to give a fair result. What have they done in the earlier dj contests? I haven't read about any trouble with that competition, so maybe someone there could help out. Just a suggestion

it's a good idea, but then we'd know that that track is yours, and we screw up the voting. so for now, send all tracks to eieregooie. he can number the tracks and send them to some people who can help host.
so you could be hosting a track, but not neccesarily your own.

it's not out of tune... those are the chords for armin van buuren's basic instinct remix...

basically... the vocal finishes the last note on a Gb (Gb major) which is about 1 bar before the chord goes from Gb to G (Eb7 major) so it is in fact correct musically...

The only problem is if you put some echoes in the vocals or if the last note of the vocals ends up on the same bar as the G... then the Gb carries over to the next bar to the chord with G, it will create some very harsh dissonance...

sorry if I explained it wierd... but that's music harmony for ya...
