Who said 6 hours? That would be great. It's gonna be a long night.

I'm surprised non of the power trancers have come in and hijacked this thread yet. I'm actually in shock the word Tiesto hasn't appeared in this thread yet eihter? Hello? Durafei? Flec? It feels so lonely without those guys in this thread.

Well, Deep Dish just doesn't cut it anymore.. They are in TO every 2 months it seems... Besides, we have to save all our our energy for TIESTO the following week

Posted by jon jon on Nov-25-2002 19:34:

Hehehe, you had to say that, eh?
You know we all respect your taste, and some of us even share it (hmm, Deep Dish, delicious!), but stay off Tiesto... respect the master!

And by the way, this city has seen more Armin in the last year than Deep Dish, so people don't talk crap like they're here every 2 months... and they don't get to spin for 6 hours that often in this city either!

thank god they don't!!

Posted by beatjunkie on Nov-25-2002 21:38:

THANK GOD THEY WILL!! Back at it TranceGeek??? Why would you even enter this thread if you hated them?? PM me I have some information for ya.

Same with the people who do nothing but put trance on a royal platter. There are other genres of electronic music that we Trance Addicts like. Live with it and stop flamming, those who want to share......

Posted by jon jon on Nov-25-2002 22:22:

^ hahah look at what I started. I was totally making a joke of the fact that this thread hadn't turned into this. Low and behold, it happened. haha Do you see us in the fucking Talla thread saying shit like "Talla sucks nuts, he is so tacky, cheese mcCheese". No you don't. Do I feel this way? Yes. hahah Suckers.

so ill post more info once i get any

I'd love room to dance, the guv will be overcrowded. But that is where the party is gonna be. 90% of why it's gonna be so packed is because it's the G.U party. Not because it's Deep Dish. I've read countless times that people have seen the Dish 10x already but because it's G.U they have to come out and support the city.

I hope they play "I Feel Stereo" by Dino Lenny (mara rmx)
I LOVE THAT TUNE!!!

Posted by jon jon on Nov-26-2002 06:10:

^

I doubt they will. Such a tough call, they have the biggest record boxes EVAR! I mean it's a 6 hour set so of course it's possible. But I'm hoping to hear ALL new shit, we're guranteed a shit load of new stuff because the GU isn't out until March. Holy future of music batman.

(-) Justin Timberlake - Like I love you (deep dish zigzag mix)

(even tho quite possibly a brutal pop song I'd love to hear it in the guv banging and everyone singing, I think it's a definite possibility)

I hope they DON'T play a single familiar tune... I just wish they could pump it all night long with all the new, unplayed, unknown tunes, because that would make that party so much better! Why? Because some of us just get sick of listening to the same songs over and over, and then recognizing them in clubs too... (one more reason I love seeing Mr. Satoshi swing by, cuz he always plays stuff that no one has even heard).

I got my invitation to these the most madness event so far this year since it will be recorded by Global Underground and be featured on one the GU collection. Finally GU has landed to TO dot.
The only problem is that it will be way over packed plus Tiesto next weekend

Posted by StereoPrincess on Nov-28-2002 22:40:

Maybe we can get on the CD cover somewhere??
That would be wicked.

Posted by Fir3start3r on Nov-28-2002 23:29:

I always seem to miss these guys...

Since I get paid the day before (wOOp!) I think I'll go check them out...

This is going to be one WACKED December for events...

Normally id say the same, but since this is going to be AT LEAST 6 hours, a few classics are bound to be played. Satoshi?? Do you mean Satoshi Tomiie???? And if so......WHEN IS HE COMING HERE!?!?!?

Yeah, they'll have to fill in that 6 hour slot with some familiar tunes, and I don't mind that... as long as they throw in some new, unreleased or freshly released stuff.

And for Mr. Satoshi, I have no idea when he's coming to T.O, but as soon as that happens, I'm there 200%... one of the rare DJs I wouldn't miss for I dunno what!

Posted by jon jon on Nov-29-2002 04:59:

6 hours doesn't really mean too much in the way of familiarity either.

Look at Labour of Love, they played for 5 fucking hours and I recognized a total of 3 songs, only 3 god damn songs.

- Safe From Harm
- Under the Water
- Thrill Her (thriller dub)

Thats it, the trick with deep dish is to expect nothing. They range from house, dark prog to techno (who heard Sharamms last hour, wow)
