Can't somebody put a peer to peer server (dunno how you call such a thing) on his server (like swamper??), to wich only trancEaddicts have access, so we can all get on it through winMX or so...?

Having said that if someone wants to become an opennap go here, click on the "Server Guide" button, and there are detailed instructions on how to get started.

i tried audiogalaxy months ago and i didnt like the interface there either!!

Try using Swaptor... goto www.swaptor.com it's just as good as Napster, but the search takes a little bit longer.

Basically, all the popular filesharing progs (and download managers)(not napster) has spyware on it. if you had good firewall running, you'll see buttload of outbound requests from these spyware. I just deny the requests! *LOL

Zone alarm (free) is one of the best firewall out there. but i heard it won't detect's bearshare's spyware, you'll have to manually delete the files in question (newdotnet file). Nor adaware either, not until 5.0 comes out.
