Alright movie, coulda been brill save one or two minor problems.
Helms Deep was fooking incredible, they managed to capturing the sheer unbelievable amount of orckai (spelling?) and Gimli's and Legolas's banter is great.
Treants were also a treat, as I havent read the books, and wasnt expecting em
Admittedly, some of the SFX were suspect (legolas's mighty 'defying the laws of physics' side jump wrap-around mount was a tad weird looking) and the ending seemed VERY rushed, but Golum/Shmeegle's (spelling?) inter-person dialogue was funny.
Great movie if you dont get too hyped up about it
I will go to a theatre or wait for dvdrip. For now I think it's great movie.
it is a great movie to be seen in the theatre. U should see it first in there before u download it or buy it. I love the fight scene at the end. Legalos and Aragon always kick ass or beat like a impossible army.

I am truly obssesed with THE LORD OF THE RINGS... and my favourite character is Legolas....but for most.. people think Aragorn is the coolest.. which he is... but i still love that agility and slickness Legolas presents on screen. Legolas was my favourite character in the books too.. and i think that Peter Jackson did an unbeleivable job in presenting these books to film... and part of the reason for this is becuase he is a major fan himself... just like Christopher Lee (Saruman).
To me.. my impression of the movie was more than i expected... i really think these films are works of pure cinematic art.
P.S Legolas swinging himself up to the horse was unbeleivable.. i wanted to be his friend after i saw that... as gay as that may sound...Why do we have to live in this mundane and boring reality...why cant there be a magical world?
