X-Tension is the a-side, although I think it came out in late 2001. Not sure to be honest. Great tune anyway, X-Tension too!

Magic Impuls is completely different from Silver Bath in Structure
and sound, plus it was a joint effort between MIKE & PAUL MENDEZ which a lot of people tend to forget.

For me it was the best Trance record of 2002 because it was very dark sounding and kept away from the cheese which destroyed Trance last year.

I think the majority of his solo projects lack creativty and are very dull...he has a signature sound that gets stagnant really fast, and his melodies go no where...
Personally, even though I don't like admitting it, I think 2002 belongs to no other than Armin van Buuren.

yeah mike has been pretty good this year! a few of his productions sound similar but they are all different in their own way. you cant say all of pvd's or armin's remixes and productions have been completely different!

Ah yes, I meant Plastic Angel. That explains why I actually like Plastic Angel - he's not M.I.K.E.!

Nah, credit where credit's due - M.I.K.E. has come out with some quality productions and remixes this year. It's just that his style is becoming somewhat tired. Even his collaboration with John '00' Fleming sounded like a typical Push production! Gah!
