Tiesto14, I'm not going to argue with you about people ragging on the u.s just for the fun of it because it's probably true to an extent. However when people give facts, you can no longer say its just "hating", if you did reasearch you would find that much of what people say here is true. As an American, I can't be proud of much of what my country has did, and I won't try to support it. If someone else is disgusted by what American does, then they should voice there opinions, as long as people are giving facts, you need to zip the lip and realize the U.S has done and continues to do some incredibly stupid shit, and that the rest of the world doesnt have it out for us.

Lots of people go on about how they disagree with "America's foreign policy" and yet I've yet to hear someone define what they mean by this. THis is a completely vague piece of rhetoric spouted by all the anti-america crowd. Much of American foreign policy is agreeable although some has been disagreeable. America's human rights violations do not compare to superpowers of past times. I mean, just think about colonial Europe, think about Soviet occupation of countries. AMerica has some self interest so it chooses sides in war. If America doesn't get involved in someone elses business in the world then they get lambasted for being "complicit" to atrocities. Then when America does anything ie ousting the Taliban, taking sides in Viet Nam, middle east etc...it is damned also. America has done many great things, though it is not perfect. I don't want to be a euro/canuck snot who stands back with all the benifits of living with AMerican prosperity (thank you FTA) and get sucked into the smugness of people who spout off unsubstantiated anti-american rhetoric.
