Me too. It's always cool to show people your livesets and say "Yeah that's me screaming in the background ya know"

hehe...I might try and find a small mic and record it on my MD player but a good quality recording would be awseme

February 1, 2003 - Viva Nightclub & Temporal Rhythm presents
the VIVA 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Presenting,

JOHN 00 FLEMING (UK)
www.john00fleming.com, JOOF Recordings, Hooj Choons, Euphoria

Boasting regular appearances at Gatecrasher and Godskitchen, John 00 Fleming has long been injecting his blend of hard-edged progressive trance into the UK's top clubs, including Cream, Ministry Of Sound, Promise, Slinky, Golden, Passion, Twisted, Progress and many others. With a career spanning nearly 20 years, his impeccable talent has seen Fleming become the face of his genre, producing numerous mix albums, artist singles, remix projects and now heading his own underground label; JOOF Recordings.

John is known for his international gigs at Home (Sydney), Cro Bar (Chicago), The Shadow Lounge (Miami), Buzz (Washington), Release (San Francisco), Giant (LA), The Guvernment (Toronto), Sona (Montreal), Dance Valley (Amsterdam) and Code (Tokyo).

During his career, Fleming has completed numerous remix projects in a broad spectrum of genres. In 2001 his remix of Konkrete's 'Law Unto Myself' on Perfecto was supported by Paul Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk and his most recent remix of the international club classic 'Caf Del Mar' reached #24 in the UK singles chart!

John 00 Fleming has become one of the front-runners in the worldwide club scene. 2003 brings a new level of demand for one of few DJs capable of filling clubs on a global level.. His recent position at No 36 in DJ Magazine's Top 100 chart proves that he is on the rise and ready to play another memorable night in Toronto.

ORKIDEA (Finland)
Club Unity, Steelfish Rec/UK, www.misc.fi

Orkidea, at the age of 25, has been one of Finland's leading trance and progressive DJs for a remarkable 10 years. He's been on the trance tip for quite a long time but he likes to spice up his sets with more housy sounds, breakz, acid, electro or whatever comes handy.

His international reputation has seen him at venues like Tresor (Berlin, Germany), Pacha (Ibiza, Spain), Turbine (Stockholm, Sweden), Tunnel (St.Petersburg, Russia), Wintergalactic & State (Toronto) Club CODE (Tokyo, Japan), Nature One Festival (Frankfurt, Germany) and Roskilde Festival (Denmark).

Orkidea's latest track, 'Melancholy' has been picked up by Tiesto's Blackhole records and is due to be released in 2003. Always one to please the crowd - his set will definitely be one to remember!

DEKO-ZE (Canada)
PPM Promotions, Balance Record Pool

Deko-Ze is regarded by many as Canadas hardest working DJ. Thanks to gigs in nearly every Canadian center, he has gained a cult following from Victoria to Halifax. Lately he has been increasing his profile state side with appearances everywhere from Seattle to Phoenix to Detroit. As one of only 3 Canadians on the prestigious Balance records pool, his sound is fresh and funky, and he never fails to impress.

PETER IVALS (Canada)
Tranceaddict.com, peterivals.com, Viva Nightclub

Peter Ivals has been spinning for the past 15 years. Like most DJs, Peter began spinning records because of his passion for music and his need to entertain crowds. Even though Peter has held residencies at venues such as FX, Meow, Atlantis, Docks and Limelight he is no stranger to the underground scene. Peter held a residency at PURE (1997-2001) and has played at several underground events run by Better Days, Liquid Adrenaline, Syrous and Destiny. Currently Peter holds a residency at Viva Nightclub, where he pleases the masses with his banging sets week after week.

WOW ! 18$ that's very cheap for such awesome line-up !
Hopefully the club won't be overpacked as it was during Destiny's NYE party !

Posted by itikia on Jan-08-2003 01:57:

Hell no, there are only a limited amount of tickets. If they run out, then your run the risk of not getting in at the door. Also, prices will be much more expensive at the door.

We want this party to be a memorable experience for everyone, therefore once the club is at capacity no one else will get in.

F***, F***, F***!!! That's not a weekend I had planned on coming home. Damn, I'll have to see what I can do. Orkidea absolutely blew me away the last time I saw him at State '01. And Dekoze is always awesome. Not to mention '00.

Posted by BANDIT on Jan-08-2003 05:52:

I dont know if you're talking about the first wintergalac or the second one. But I only saw Orkidea at the 2nd one and he played right after Tiesto. I believe he played from 5am-7am or something like that.

Posted by bluE_Neon on Jan-08-2003 18:51:

Orkidea is back in toronto! not to metion 00 frig this looks like a great ass party, i am hoping to attend this...

Posted by itikia on Jan-08-2003 19:26:

A heads up for the TA's:

The tickets are now on sale through ticket master, just type in Viva 1 Year in the search. However, I do recommend purchasing the tickets from the outlets to avoid paying the ticket master service fees.

The tickets will hit the Toronto Outlet locations later today, move fast before the 18 buck tickets sell out.

Yep, true dat... keep the violinist away from there... at least for that night.

I bought my ticket for $21. Not a bad deal I'd say.
