Meh, don't mind the faded look on girls just as long as they're tight I have a pair of stonedwash jeans and that's about as far as i'll go.

Some kid I know bought a pair of jeans with torn holes all over, for like $200!. One of those pretty boy, bar stars we have here.

bastard!! how old and how rich is he?!?!

anyhow, back to the Jeans. The website with decent Evisu stocks is www.kitmeout.com. The Sizes for the Jeans is your waist size, so I guess if you are size 31 diesel, then you should wear a 32 for Evisu, as the Jeans are all "unwashed" I.e. they shrink to fit after the first wash. Turn-ups are also distinctive for the Evisu jeans as the show the uniqiue "Selvedge", and are actually made slightly longer to accomodate the turn up. The selvedge is the bit where seams join on the legs.

also see www.evisu.com

Edit: Oh yeh, the USD Prices I have quoted are only direct currency conversions of the UK Prices. Many things cost a lot more in AMerica in fashion. I was in Beverly Hills wearing Moschino (italian haute couture) stuff, and trying to find prices for it. Basically, they were worth $400, yet i bought them for 100 (approx $150) See the Evisu website for the US shop list and check the prices out yourselves, altho u'd probably save money from buying them online!

My jeans are loose-fitting but I wear them at my waist. I dont look anything close to a thug. I think dressing like a thug is stupid.

a pair of Gap 1969 straight fit jeans (a bit faded just a bit though) for $30 cant complain. i refuse to spend more than that on jeans though, and these are great - not too faded, yet stylish.

and boy are they tight on me

people here save all their money up to buy a car, they can live in a cardboard box and drive a nice car

Posted by JKX on Jan-23-2003 07:07:

There goes to show what means people go through to market themselves wholeheartedly by their vehicles...just kidding!

That's a nice ride you have there "sand her k" but there's no need for you to profess your fortunes just because your friend Mi|k is getting more attention from fellow members, ehhh?

Some people can afford the world but remain to be thrifty, others choose to splurge willingly.

I personally find it totally offensive to be driving a Jaguar XJ-series or a fancy Euro Beamer when it's been paid for by my parents. Safer cars is the reason why...most people from the East (Asia, Europe, Australia) would agree on this.

You'll be surprised at the number of rich people there are in this world. X5 is definately one ride I love to own one day on my wish list. BTW, I got a mate in Cali who at the age of 20 owned a Acura NSX, BMW M5, Dodge Viper and recently an additional Ferrari 355(i think), latest models i must add. He loves speed and he's very humble too. Talk about multiple babe magnets...lol

Back to the jeans topic: I myself prefer to buy a spanking pair and wear it out myself. After a few years, you'll notice that fading is unique for each pair. Contrast of lightness/darknes visible. Anyways....faded jeans are lovely....especially for Summer time. However, the trend being everyone is mass-producing them and those people who are sick of Fashion assimiliation choose to pay more to look different.

Like I said, some splurge willingly...others do not see the sense in paying US $ 700 for a pair. Neither do I. Some are born with a silver spoon in their mouth, some aren't. It's this kind of inequalty why communism in N. Korea still exist and was once tolerated. People cannot stand the sight of others being richer or well-to-do so to speak than them: This is a fact. We compare and contrast all the time, with regards pertaining to everyday activities. So...Marx decided that Communism will solve the problem of inequality in a society. Look what happened. Lack of motivation and hope. Everything's taken care of by the government, your shoe size, bowl size and what-not.

If you are rich now, think of ways to be richer.

Cheers!
JKX

You gotta be joking. They practically invented the look. You look at ecko, phat farm, sean john, akademiks, they've all had the faded jeans for along time.

Now they're just going crazy with it, and doing the outside freyed stitching, patched holes, everything you can imagine.

my above post is a pair of phat farm jeans.

this is a pair of akademiks (alittle over the top if you ask me though):

Posted by JM on Jan-26-2003 06:30:

i was not joking, i have not seen the baggy faded yeans yet. guess i try to avoid the hood, and not a one kid around here wears the baggy ones that are faded.

and the patched holes jeans are super ugly, i mean that is too overdone. 1 or 2 smaller patches, neatfully done would be great...not 5 on front
