You were making yourself look like such a selfless, problem-admitting nation that everybody just ran around saying that your country was full of problems and not looking at anything from a biased perspective.

I admit that a large majority if American foreign policy has very serious flaws. I admit that the US media broadcasts what it is told to broadcast.

I'm not saying the US is better than anyone or anything to that effect. I'm just saying don't go putting your country on such a high horse, because we all know that everybody backs their own country blindly to a point.

Although the US government isn't perfect (far from it), it is the best government that has ever existed.

If you don't believe me, take some American government classes at your local college. Oh wait, you don't have a local college, that's right, well, instead of blaming your own government, lets just blame Americans and their import/exports right?!?

Actually America does it for the rest of the western world as well, if we didn't what European power would stand for western interests. European societies would stand to lose a lot if Americans stop standing up for their own & western interests.

What countries saw the error of their ways a 100 years ago... Germany didn't, & fought 2 world wars, Japan didn't, the Soviet Union didn't and had the purges... Heck Russia had 3 governments in a century. The Chinese didn't learn a thing, they still kill babies on a regular basis.

Was there something to be learned from WWII, the errors of the French way... Yes, unfortunately no one understands what should have been learned from WWII. That international threats should be dealt with before they get too extreme. On September in 1939, France should have invaded Germany, when Germany invaded Poland. Heck, they declared war, but they didn't invade. Why not? This is the thing I learned from WWII. Other world leaders have learned from French ineptitude. It seems the French will only fight a war until enemy troops come marching into France. LOL Although lately, with the way the French stand on international affairs, I dont think they would fight even with enemy troops marching into France, they'd probably just cower & surrender without a fight.

I dont think the American government is the best government par se, we have corruption here just like everyone else. I disagree with my government on many things, drug laws, economic policy, taxes, social service cutbacks, etc.

economies are mismanaged all over the world, America is no exception, the environment. (the same) Come back when you can say something uniquely disturbing about America. And regarding that comment on colleges, I mean, just because you've got schools and colleges in USA doesn't make your education system any better than education system in other countries... as a matter of fact, I think the level of education you get in USA is just ridiculous, it's not even funny anymore... most of your high school grads still can't find France on the map!

America is not the be all and end all of life, there are other countries living as civilised, only without the drunken hicks. It's one thing to be patriotic, it's another to be blind, as it happens, western society is faulted, but the arab/muslim way seems more so, like blowing up ppl cos of their religion.

As I see it no1 is perfect, and definitely not the americans, whilst trying to ban 'rave' they forget that rap and metal music causes ppl to kill each other and so on, which is more faulted than a small amount of ppl taking drugs, yet they don't do anything about that cos it's 'their' culture whereas true dance culture does not originate in the USA

There are some ok ppl in the usa tho, like f0x, Mizz, Redeye to name 3, so u can't say we're anti-americans cos we're not, we just hate to see the 'I'm better than u cos im american' attitude when no1 in this world is better at all than anyone, so sure, be proud to be american, but it does not make u better than anybody else, so deal with being equal, or shut up. I'm proud of all my roots, especially my english ones, but I dont use it to make me out to be a better person than u cos thats just ignorance, a thing many americans are good at

What's the missunderstanding, they are neither Indians nor Native Americans, I'm sure they didn't call this continent America before the Europeans came. Finding France on the map is not important, because most maps ahem, have France labeled on them. Knowing how to read a map, that's another matter.

Actually our education system sucks in the US, largely due to lack of discipline in school. It's damn hard for most normal people to learn in a classroom full of disruptive, rude students. College is ok, having to pay for college usually keeps the disruptive morons out.

I have had the unique experience in transferring from a suburban middle school to an urban one, and let me tell you, urban schools have a lot more disruptive anti-social students, & it seems to be getting worse every year judging by the reactions I get from some of the urban teachers I know. & the teachers are powerless to do anything about it, since they took the stick away from them in the 60's. So, we have a society in social decay, waiting for one day when someone with balls decides to bring back America to it's former glory. If you cant rule a classroom how the hell are you going to rule a nation.

dude, wtf are u trying to say? lol. we have 3 universities and many many colleges in my city. And my government gives me a $9000 interest free loan and $3000 bursary so I can afford to go to university. Also, if I get sick, the government lets me go see my doctor for free. And as an extra bonus, my government doesn't make many enemies around the world.
