Dave, Nice to hear from you and welcome to the board. Again, we must see you in ULTRA 5 WMC this Macrh. You will love the crowd and we'll love you. Have nice day.

Posted by PatMcGroin on Jan-29-2003 08:38:

oh my lord. i'm sorry. its late, i had my calc2 exam earlier, i'm a happy kid because its over, and i come home, look through my music, find beber and tamra - travelling on (gabriel and dresden campfire mix) and i just sit back, relax, and simply just enjoy the music.

thank you.

There is one big reason why Gabriel & Dresden's remix of Southern Sun
is way better DJ Tiësto's will ever be, and that is that intro
where that FAT bassline comes in after a while, gives me chills everytime.

Just can't get the mood wrong that that choon.

Posted by undertensecond on Jan-29-2003 12:45:

u have really done a really good job to andian - summer calling by spicying up a really spicy tune and have juz heard ur liveset Gabriel & Dresden @ Global DJ Broadcast on Party 931(01-06-2003).a real masterpiece!

Posted by Tenshi on Jan-29-2003 17:57:

Your remixes of Andain - Summer Calling and Way out West - Mindcircus were my favourite tunes of 2002. Your remixes and productions are just so different than the whole 08/15 trance which comes out at the moment! everything sounds so fresh and is just amazing

I know that you'll never visit austria with Josh, because we'er such a small country with hardly any dance scene but i surely want to watch your dj'ing and dancing my ass off

much respect!

May I ask you a question dave? Can you name a few productions/remixes you're planning to do this year?

Posted by torontotrance on Jan-29-2003 18:45:

plan to work with any artist this year?

Posted by Renegade on Jan-29-2003 20:00:

Hey dave, fancy sending me a copy of the new Steve Porter tune you rated in the January West Coast DJs chart? I'll provide the shipping costs of course....

quote:
i'd also like to mention since i have your attention that it's now more than ever imperative that you all purchase your dance music. dance is such a fringe music to begin with and with labels cutting budgets and everything, the first thing that also is going is dance. remember- if nobody gets paid, then we all have to go out and get real jobs and cannot spend the time nessessary to make this music! downloading is fine, but please purchase the records you love!

Search for "Dresden" in the TA Hub and you're likely to get a pretty complete discography of your work. It would be a bit hypocritical of me to criticise mp3s seeing as I download them quite frequently (while buying the music I enjoy obviously), but do you feel ripped off at all seeing your work distributed so freely like that? Would you rather your work wasn't on the Hub or any other p2p file-sharing networks?

(Sorry to add to the other 485 questions you've just been asked, just thought it'd be interesting to hear your views.)

OMG I never thought Dave or Josh would ever join the board . You guys both make wicked tunes/remixes. Wether together or apart both of you guys make some quality t00nage. Loved your last few sets and all of your tunez/remixes. I hope I can get a nice rip of your the 15th remix which really beefed up an allready quality track. I hope you guys release a CD soon since I don't spin vinyl but I can promise that when you release a CD I'll be first in line (I'm sure you knew that if you ask any other TA's that know me or check the title that's under my name). Pure magic, doesn't matter if it's a remix or your own work. Anyways keep up the amazing work and I'm really looking foreward to hearing anything that either you or Josh put out in the future .

Wow! Dave I love your productions and remixes! They're absolute quality! Please let us know if The Rush Comes (Sweeping Strings Mix) will ever be released so I can go out and buy it. I just lose myself totally whenever I hear it. It's just THAT good.

That remix of Yet Another Day is indeed another gem. But in the official tracklist of the A State of Trance show of last night it says Armin van Buuren feat Ray Wilson- Yet Another remix (Attention Deficit Remix 2) (Nebula/United/Armind). so are there two remixes? Or is this the second, better, version? Any news on that dave?

Welcome aboard to the boards Dave (you're prob. regretting too with the onslaught of questions from the people...me included )!

First and foremost, most definitely appreciate and admire all the work you and Josh do to the dance...hell...music community!
Respect!

Now onto the questions
1.) Have you guys played the Three Drives remix of Carrera at all? 2.) >
3.) Is there a CD compilation at work from you and/or Josh, if so any details would be greatly appreciated!
4.) With the "tour", is that europe or North America or all over?
5.) Are you guys planning on regulary doing the Global DJ Broadcast (monthly/bimonthly) -- personally would LOVE to have that!

Both of you have an original sound that definitely takes people on a trancey trip and def. looking forward to hearing more of your works.

You probably missed it but he answered part of that question already:

So that beauty is the follow-up of Lament

OMG there had better be a rip of this . That's what I'll be cranking on my bday for sure since it's a short 3 days after that set. I hope to hear some sets before that and get some nice new tunez .

Posted by DJ Sunburn on Feb-01-2003 16:28:

Hey Dave! Thought I'd say that in this world of growing popularity for prog, you and Josh seem to combine the best of both worlds by combining an edgy technique to a trancey sound. This world is also full of producers simply copying each other so much to the point where all you hear is the same sound and when you listen to one song it feels like you heard the same track before.

But you guys have your own trademark sound which is what I respect in many many artists today. You stay true to the sound and give dance music a new type of appeal. All of your productions are great and I urge you to keep up the good work! Thanks alot!

Dancing Dude

nice 2 see top producers join in with TA and be so friendly.
