Yeah think the same. SH is somewhat an easy target and Bush needs a success or else he will look even dumber than he is with the time.

He obviously failed to clearly bring OVBL to justice as he mentioned he will do. So before the public has the time to think about all that and raise questions he focuses on a somewhat created bigtime enemy who is relativly easy to hunt down.

I dont think its really all about the oil, the government just needs something to prove, they desperately need a success before people start questionning where OBL is or why the economy goes down. And honestly: Which terrorist-like thread is easier to hunt down than Iraq and Saddam Hussein??? All those terrorist networks are very hard to find and destroy because they are not states, just some groups with members from different countries. North Korea who is running its mouth badly th elast several weeks is obviously a bigger thread 1on1 because they HAVE nuclear bombs and they seem to have an even crazier president than Iraq. To start a fight agianst another country like Iran, Syria or whatever the govt. would need to put down much better "proof" to convince the american folk than its needed to convince them about Iraq, which is an old known enemy. IMO Iraq is not even in the Top5 of the biggest thread and so seem to think others. No with this circumstances that the world is not united like against Afghanistan, should really by careful what they do. They could go alone and would win against Iraq, thats not the point. The point here is that now its the time for the USA to decide if they wanna go the rest of the waym alone and isolate themselves or if they want to take every step needed to keep the alliance against terror intact. You (as americans) can win this battle (Iraq) alone, but you cant win the war (against terror) this way.

With this government in action I just hope the debate will go on for a while just until election day and the govt. will be hopefully shown the door.
