is linux really that good, i mean if you're gonna use your coputer for like browsing and shit it doesnt really matter what u have, mac , winblowz, or linux. they all do the same thing but some with uniqueness. like mac=graphics linux=internet, ahh that weird uinix shit and windows= trash see there is a use for everything. blah blah

If u want to use ur computer for internet only , Linux is the best alternative

i�ll setup linux during the next two or three weeks, need to inform my self bout it more, dl it and then set it up on my 2nd HD!! bootmagic by powerquest makes it possible, he he

using my comp for internet, grapix(increasingly), gaming and of course trancEing!!!

but i do hope that PS 6 works on it and if not i hope there is a linux version sowewhere(...over the rainbow?)

Adobe ARE working on PS6 for linux. Linux is stable...CHEAP.....and and fun but it's just doesn't have the software and hardware support I want. Besides I'm a hardcore gamer too so I have to pass on it. WinXP looks very promising though. Very stable. Nice GUI (and it can be skinned too) and good features. Shame about the activation code on it though....but I don't think it'll take long for someone (la di da di daa) to crack it anywayz.

the only thing would be finding a PS 6 version woking on linux coz the are probably pretty rare, but i dont know actually...
