i think its a cop out because it does make the tracks sound the same and it makes them a hell of a lot easier to mix.

oh...my OPINION is that song for the ocean is an average production. i still think AVB could've spent more time into and and done better...hopefully some good mixes come out...oh fuck...i think i just bashed armin cuz i think song for the ocean is average

err my point is that he has made fuck all effor tin producing it, hes being lazy, and there is no sophistication (sp?) to the track compared to yet another day which had layers upon layers of different sounds making a nice full track. its a very basic tune and it sounds like a bit of a "cut and paste job" to me. he's already released sunburn which is the dust.wav intro looped over and over (i know it it was originally meant to be a remix of dust.wav) but that totals 3 tracks now!! and the stupid thing is they are under different guises. wtf's the point of having perpetuous dreamer and armin if the productions sound the same. compare moonman to system f and youve got a difference. go pick up tiesto's album, yes its old but EVERY track is unique and EVERY track has either been released or remixed with the one exception of dallas 4pm. not many artists can do that, and armin is obviously one of those that cant.

This isn't a bad song at all, especially the breakdown is pretty interesting.

And if you guys want to bash PVD, make other thread about it cause this one is about latest Armin's song ffs !!!

Yeah PvD is innovating ....

only because his latest tracks have the same bass line doesn�t mean he isn�t innovating.. Paul is MAYBE (I don�t know how old you are...) longer in the electronic scence active than you live..

Paul's new productions are boring and FAR from innovative. I didnt think so many people agreed with me though. This Armin song is decent. I wont give it much replay but it certainly is far from terrible. Armin is an incredible producer though. He's much more dynamic than most. At least his sound is evolving. Its not the same as it was two or three years ago. But people come on try to be realistic here, he's not going to have a smash hit with every record he releases. Not even the greatest artists like the beatles, bob dylan or hendrix did.
