Yes I remember what has happened in that game, they were showin hightlites of that game the next day for whole day and talkin about what has happened in that penalty box. What about the Owen H. can`t spell his last name to well, why did he picked England as his home nation, tho as I recall he was born, in Canada, cause most players see its easier to get into the big thing as is World Cup thru better countires, and cause Radzinski played for Canada`s Under-21 team or somethin like that he decided as well he can play here then anywhere else that is for Canada, and I`m not blaming him, who knows how he would turned once he stayed in Poland. We have/had like second best team or was second best under-19 team in Europe in 2000, as I`m not mistaken, cause we have placed second in U-19 tournament, and many of these players that played in that finals now just sit and not play in their clubs, tho there are some exceptions.
Well you asked me about players like Julian de Guzman - Hannover 96 (Bundesliga), he is only 22 so yeah, there might be a big future for him. Nsaliwa as I recall last time played in some second bundesliga team. Hume second division in England. But I would say there are better players then the four u named if everythin will go well. Maycoll Canizalez - Werder Bremen (Bundesliga) or Richard Hastings Graz AK (Austrian First Division).
Cheers.
And may I ask since when are u in Canada

I'll tell you what mate, the Toronto Lynx season opener is a couple of months away, come down, I'll get your ticket and we'll talk it over bud. I see you know your stuff so I'll be happy to intoduce you to some of my Krakow Ultras mates Cheers

Hehe Ive heard it all from the local yoyos over the years mate. You reach the point when their status becomes exceedingly humorous. Its the fruitless search for argument against the worlds #1 sports that pushes them over the edge, its understandable, thats why its usually pointless to discuss with the Eskimos, they'll never see the light

Posted by Projekt4.o on Feb-13-2003 02:06:

i never knew that in Toronto there were Krakow Ultras, but yeah that can be aranged the meetin and stuff, who knows maybe some of them are ppl who I already know

First let me say I knew you were joking and im just having fun too. Everything i say on these boards is in good fun. Even these soccer tuggers.. i'd shake their hands in real life if i ever saw them. Im just kidding around and having a good time.

Second, Nice post! (even though you are objectively wrong on many of your points) Im used to the majority of the leafs fans here in ottawa who argue by throwing insults back and forth. I bring up a good arguement i hear "leafs rule". meh. Anyway i dont have long i have been skrewing around all day but before i start i gotta give you my respect.. so peace

And about whining tell me about when every single senator fan was fucking whinin when you lost both times to the leafs in the play offs? In regards to whining in Toronto it may seam that way because there is a lot more media coverage, thus a lot more opinions are presented to the public across Canada. I will admit I don't think the leafs are the best at all they have sucked in the last two years big time, but I still cheer for them, cause I stick for my team

ya sure we were pissed. But we pointed the finger at the right people. Our team played poorly, our coach made mistakes and they were the ones who the fans blamed and rightfully so. But come next year we cheered for them again. We didnt blame the refs or the league or cry conspiracy...

We don't know how to win? I will admit that Senators can win in the regular season, but have they gone far at all in the playoffs? Eh? Cause that's what really counts last I checked? Sure u still have to make it to the top 8 of the conference, but it does not fucking matter what or who u play cause anything can happen. But than again Senators have greatly improved their team, but than again just like I said I think not a single player on Sens has any class. And about whining, Jacque Martin (not sure of proper spelling, sorry ) whine the most I ever saw a coach whine in the last years playoffs. So please, u guys are not better in that department. And Alfredson same fucking story, but wait there is more about yours Sens later.

We lost three years in a row. I'll admit it. We lost last year because the leafs played better pure and simple. Im ashamed and i took the abuse from my friends and every leaf fan. And if it happens this year ill take it like a man come in here and give my props. That said leaf fans are grossly blowing it out of proportion. You didnt win the cup any of those years. Thats the point of the Stanly CUP playoffs isnt it? To win the CUP? Everyone says the playoffs are the most important season but for one reason only. To win the cup. If you don't win the cup your run is for nothing. Last years win over the senators really doesnt make it all that much more important than any regular season wins. Win the cup then come brag to me.

And I think you and I both know the complaints about martin and alfredsson are rubbish. The entire organization has been praised by media around the league for its class. Whine the most I have ever seen a coach whine" Lol.. come on man you have to be kidding me. If anything Martin has been critisized for his lack of empotion and consistent boring media addresses.

Yes injuries. Hmm how many of Ottawa's teams players wear visors? Hmm, nearly all of them. Hmmmm, how many of them think they are tough guys and can go swining around with their sticks "irresposibly", nearly all of them. How often does Jacque Martin but out goons on the ice to start fights, cause Sens are loosing, hmm ... everytime.

Hmm all of a sudden your forgot about that irresponsible prick called Alfredson, who suposedly "un-intentionally" swung his stick at Berrad. Hmm let me figure this out why would you be holding your stick up in the air in the first place?

First of all it was Hossa who poked berard in the eye. Second the reason he had his stick up in the air was because he went to take a shot and fanned. There was absolutely nothing wrong with what he did. It was completely accidental and people close to the team said he felt so sick to his stomach afterwords that they thought he might have put himself temporarily out of the lineup. And please if you think visors are the biggest problem in hockey you have to stop watching don cherry. (ironically the accident to berard wouldnt have happend if HE was wearing a visor) You see just as many high sticks in the air from people without visors than you do with. Its a silly arguement.

As for leafs injuries.. half of them didnt even happen in the ottawa series. Sundin injured his wrist last year against NY. I dont think roberts was injured in the ottawa series. Antropov was hit with a PERFECTLY legal hit and i think cocked his leg funny. And I would have beaten tucker over the head repeatedly if I was on the ice (even though alfredsson's hit was also perfectly fine).

Charra? Goon? Why because he's big? He did happen to have a +30 last year (probably higher than anyone on the leafs) and made it as one of pierre mcguire's top 4 defensemen in the league this year. Fact is buddy for his size he is EXTREMELY talented.

Phillips has no class? It it because he wears a visor too? He hardly ever talks to the media and when he does he says.. "we have to play a little harder" or "we had a great game". Come on man you're pulling shit out of your ass.

Redden.. Heh i hate him.. most of ottawa hates him. He makes way way to many crucial mistakes.

Alfredsson. heh i know you're just trying to yank my chain. I have been following alfredsson since the the first game he played and I have NEVER heard him whine.

Fisher = goon = correct. And a talented player at that. Even don cherry gives him the credit he deserves.

Hossa- Visor wearing goon.. and also the leagues highest scorer.

Neil = goon. Yup

Ottawa market - 1 million people
Equivalent Toronto market - 6-7 million people.
That could be a good reason Toronto gets better attendance no? And ya it may be that ottawa and many other canadian teams have to leave in a few years. And you as a hockey fan have to admit its sad isnt it?
