Well, i got this album a few weeks ago, really like it, dont like bring me to life tho because its constantly on. People, dont judge them as just Linkin Park with a female vocalist until you've heard the album because its only that song that sounds anything like linkin park and i believe that the male vocalist only does a cameo appearance on that one track.
You all seem to be giving opinions from hearing only one track, you may claim to have heard the whole album but if you didnt like the first song you wouldnt have bought or listened to the album. If you havent i recommend visiting their website where im pretty sure there are audio samples from the album.
p.s. imo
okay

Personally, I liked 'Bring Me To Life' after hearing it in the DareDevil preview. Unfortunately, the complete song is a very different style than the samples they used (which made it sound more electronic than it really is). I bought the CD Fallen... Good, but honestly? All their songs sound the fucking same. They never alter the distortion on the guitar; it's the same on every single track. And beside BMTL, all the other lyrics aren't much to write home about.
But seriously guys, there's been way too much Linkin Park bashing in this thread. If you don't like them, fine. Some people (myself included), however, do. So cut the childish disses.

Paula
a lot of their 'rock' sounding songs sound the same i'll admit, but compare My tourniquet, My Immortal, Hello, Missing (Bonus Track), Imaginary
and you'll see that Amy has a beautiful voice...someone should feat her in a trance track
I don't mind what i've heard of them so far, no doubt rock fans would call it the equivalent of 'cheese', but hey, i don't mind it.
Evanescence is quite a good group, not great, but still good enough.
I bought their album and the only downside to it is the sameish singing of Amy and I just hate the snobistic sounding track Tourniquet "my godd, my tourniquet!!!" plzzzzz
It's goth-rock/goth-metal with a nu-metal swing to it. If they succeed to be more than just another one-hit wonder and promise to never again make a track like Bring Me To Live they might have a bright future.
My favorite track is Going Under
they have to be innovative to reach every corner in the world.
Evanescence did this for rock.
i happen to think they're annoying :X

i'm probably gonna check out more of their stuff, but if it turnes out to be dark gothic pain rock, i'm not sure if i'll like it... that is all |

Nothing about this "group" in particular stands out to me... P.S., geez, old thread

Yeah, Great CD.
Admit it, its now rare to buy a disc from a mainstream group that content only good songs.
My favourite is Hello. My immortal is nice, too.
For the very first seconds of the album (starting with Going Under), i was SURE that it was some Linkin Park, until i heard "...Going underrr". Lol
What?! Theres a remix of Hello out there?
