Many people here probably know this already, but Arrakis is the planet upon which Frank Herbert's book Dune is based (as well as its sequels).

One of the masterpieces of science fiction, for those of you who haven't read it.

peace / rest - the biggest happiness on earth... it comes very often only by isolation in the heart (correct translation?)

For Solar Stone, I'm not sure if it's derived from the sculpture of Michaelangelo, but the way they came up with the word is interesting...they needed a group name on the spot, so they opened up a nearby bible, pointed to one word, opened up again, and pointed to a second one. The 2 words happeneds to be Solar, and Stone.

"We needed a name and had 20 minutes to think of one as the record company were putting together the sleeve artwork to 'The Calling'. We had a book about mythology in the studio for some reason, so we closed our eyes, opened the book at a random page and upon that page was an image of a painting by michaelangelo called 'The Solar Stone', and that was that!"

So actually I was pretty close. Its a painting, not a sculpture

The translation is correct and Schiller is the name of a great german poet, already dead since some time ago. 100 or 200 years dont know exactly. He wrote a poem called "Die Glocke" ------so, Glockenspiel...............

well, i have to admit i thought it was 'der schreiber', but judging by the response here it probably is scheiber. were it 'schreiber' it would be someone that writes. not entirely author, but just someone who writes. as 'scheiber' it is someone who pushes as already stated.

and yes 'ruhe' is peace or silence or tranquility in one way or another.

das glockenspiel literally is the bell game, and it is an instrument, as also already mentioned.

... in fact, everyone already covered the german, im not sure why i responded at all ! someone ask more german ones so i can feel smart...
