Well, as much as you hate to hear it, peace has been achieved through war. Peace has also been achieved WITHOUT war. Unfortunately, its not always achieved without war. 2000 years of history proves it.

We all want peace, i'll keep saying it, it doesn't take a genius to want peace, but apparently it takes a genius to achieve it.

Just realize when you're waving a sign or banner, or have a peace sig, you're stating the obvious. Just know, you are not helping anyone achieve it, by just "wanting peace", its a little more than that, and if you have no solution or atleast SOME ideas, you're worthless to the cause. Remember, its not the people on the street waving their flags, and vomitting in front of political buildings that made the peace we know today.

IMO its all more of a self fulfilling issue than anything. Every citizen that goes out to protest against war, knows not a damn thing is going to change when they go back home. I guess whatever makes people happy. Its got to be really fulfilling though to know, the only thing you really achieved was a traffic jam.

I know of monkeys that can hold up a protest sign and make the peace sign with their hand. Unfortunately, monkeys dont have any solutions either.

The only thing that history has proven in regards to war is that it causes MORE WAR! To say that war causes peace is ridiculous because in the thousands of years of civilsation and war, peace has NEVER been achieved.

And why continue to make judements on people's intelligence because of the side they choose? I can make the same arguements for those who support the war but i choose not to because I am not a child.

they were given those by the americans, germans and french way back in 89 to get rid of the Kurds.

and if they have developed any now, why havent they used them if they have weapons of mass destruction??

all the missiles lanched by Iraq were declared non scud missles by an army general this morning

3. You continue telling your people and the world you have no (or no longer) have weapons of mass destruction, and that the US is a war mongering greedy bully and should be fought against.

Two choices.

A. Would it be wiser to use those weapons of mass destruction to defeat your enemy and become an official visible liar to the entire world? (meaning, the UN and nations would agree, that the US was correct, and possibly join in the conflict)

B. or would it be smarter to secretly destroy the weapons of mass destruction, and die with "dignity", knowing you possibly will never be proved of having such weapons, and in turn making the "war mongering bully" United States look like a fool to the entire world for being so sure of Iraq having such weapons.

The right answer is B.

By choosing A, he would prove the United States was correct, and I can assure you, several many more nations would jump in and support the take out. He would just be hurting himself.

They are not DESTROYING BAGHDAD. They are hitting targets relevant to the Iraqi war machine, and the evil regime that runs it.

They are using the methods of combat which ensure minimum loss of life, what the fuck are u talking bout 'non-combating'? do u think they are going to risk lives on purpose?

The tactics being used are aimed at one thing, finishing the war as soon as possible, which will mean less deaths all round.

if all they wanted was a regime change, theres something called special ops...

there would be death of only the ones they want to get rid of.

and if their combat methods are tohave minimal loss of life, justify 100+ injured Iraqis and about 15 dead??

if they were aiming to kill people, how come the 'Shock and Awe' raid last night only killed 3 people? those were some fuckin huge explosions, i think its incredible so few died.

special ops can't take out a whole government. saddam has sons.

also, they want to go in and destroy all the weapons of mass destruction, which u can't do from the air.

and ur argument is bullshit anyway, US and British forces are engaged on the ground in Southern Iraq.

Hey man,

Unlike everyone else, I agree... Not only is the US not using any of those 250,000 infantry, they are first using millions of dollars worth of cruise missles to take out anti-aircraft.

After they did that, they did their bombing runs, decimating everything they could find that could possibly crack the nail polish of their precious infantry.

It is unfiar, and as far as I'm concerned, they are not fighting a war, they are pulvurizing a o****ry in order to give massive contracts to the US companies to rebuild it.

Great plan Bush! Oops, wait a minute, the rest of the world hates you for this...
