Last I heard was that he Tiesto was scheduled for The Docks Saturday, June 14th, which would be just fucking insane because I know it's a smaller club than the Guv/KH and that place was jammed for Tijs last time. Ok, your sayin Tiesto is scheduled for June 14th @ The Docks, isnt Tiesto in Montreal that weekend for Formula 1 with Armin and Guy Ornadel??? Cause if he IS @ The Docks on June 14th, then I'm not going to make a LONG ass trip to Montreal for 1 night to see Tiesto when I could easily save money and go to the Docks, plus I LOVE parties @ The Docks. Don't go and stick fucking Tiesto @ Guv (Hole in the ground) Kool Haus I dont mind, but Guvernment... Ya Forget that shit.

I think their management has gotten smarter and started to put most of their big events in the KH... just look at Ultra Spin, they moved -all- the big DJs to the KH. Yesterday the way wasn't even open from KH to Guv (two completely isolated parties).

But then who knows... I've never been to a party at the docks, so if this is confirmed then I may try to hit this up just to see what it's like.

Well its not the Management @ Guvernment I'm talkin about, its the Stinky sweaty Gino's that are all strung out on Alcohol or G that drive me nuts and its just TOO crowded their for me. I have had ALOT of bad experiences at Guv and I will NEVER return that shit-hole. As for the Docks, Digi-Nut the Docks is amazing when holding parties, i attended Wintergalactic 2001 (Amazing!) also State '01 with Armin and Orkidea another WICKED night and also Connected 2001 which was supposed to be @ CNE Grounds but at the last minute CNE decided to ban ALL raves on their grounds so it got switched to the Docks and what an amazing night that was. Docks by far (Except for Viva) is an awesome venue to hold a party!

Docks is only good as long as they have a good soundsystem. Sound at Wintergalactic 2001 was SHIT ! They improved it a bit for State 01 for it was still worse than sound at Guv I believe..

I know this, what I meant was that the Guvernment main room seems to be used more often these days for just the local DJs, and the insane international talent is in the KH where there's actually some room.

I know I haven't been there as often as some people, but every time I've been to a KH party I've had a great time (well Ultra Spin sucked for a few hours but that was my own damn fault).

But anyway, I'd love to check this out... I'm hearing stronger pro-Docks than anti-Docks arguments.

To each there own I guess. My formal in grade 13 was great - and I would never tell anybody not to go - you're only in HS once - do it all!

I should have gone to mine. Friends were stupid and didn't know (only 2 of them and I didn't have a date). I figured it would feel weird if I just hung out there with those two friends and the rest of the people I didn't know. Ah wellz.

it's close to Guv .. on the east side of lakeshore blvd. best way is to head to toronto.com and generate a map by searching "The Docks"..

btw. why do i get the feelin that this round of Tiesto is gonna be some kinda hot103.5 sponsored event ..

The Docks is on Poulson Street.

Polson Street is off of Cherry Street (the Cherry Street Spit is a part of Cherry Street).

From the Guv, take Queens Quay east, across some train tracks to Cherry Street (almost under the Gardnier). Turn South on Cherry Street, and the once you cross a lift bridge, turn right onto Polson Street.

Need further details?
