tu_face, thats sounds good man, though maybe u be suited more on our alternative night with eclectic beats, thats more prog housey, tech-house, a night with dirty driven basslines etc, but its ur call on what kinda style u want to play

nope we didn't pay for the flyer design work this time but we are happy to pay someone if we get nights going regularly and if they are consistently producing designs we like - especially if they have to come up with new one every month or fortnight. We wan tto try and keep a theme and style going throughout. It'd be cool to see some of your designs if you have done any for other nights - I think the whole flyer/poster design side of things is well interesting

i usually jsut do signatures for people on here, did an advert for soundofeden.co.uk for a magazine once tho, some of the styles vary depends what you like, for example heres two of my own old sigs:

can do anything really, even basic vectoral stuff (looks quite effective sumtimes if done well)

The Pause night seems to be generating alot of interests.
It will be a good varied night on May 8th and also a time to celebrate a gathering of Trance and Dance music lovers!

Can't wait. See you all there coz I don't know anyone one of u guys at all.

Cheers

Alright folks?
In terms of DJs, if you are intrested don't be afraid to get in touch about sending in a mix cd/md or to invite us to a night you are playing at to see you play (have to be in Sheff area really but we could possibly check you out if you are playing Leeds or Manchester and the other promoter, Daz is keeping an eye on the Liverpool scene). Bear in mind we can only fit in a couple of nights before the summer lull and Ibiza exodus but if you've got talent and potential then we'll consider anyone; and the same goes for people doing design work so get in touch. We have some good peeps designing flyers etc for us already but we are still working on possible future flyers, web design and on our logo and will always listen to new ideas.

As far as Andy C goes we have heard some good things - have possibly been at a Young Guns night when he was playing but not sure... my brain cells aren't what they used to be. Still with ref to above posts, Young Guns was a quality night which is just on hold as far as I know and I have been to some pretty phat Better Dayz nights too. Take it easy, and what is all this about project work? Put the project on pause, lol

If i lived ANYWHERE near sheffield, id have sent a demo tape along.. But seeing as 4 hours is a bit of a journey, id have to give it a miss

Put a night on down south
