I JUST GOT THE EMAIL AND I FARKING LOVE VW NOW EVEN MORE THEN BEFORE WOOOHOOOO, i'd been planning on coming in tomorow anyway now i can get 4 more vinyls!!!!! Im so psyched now. Does the offer extend to any vinyl collections? like an album of 3 vinyls?

im heading down today to stock up on a few for the weekend and maybe recovery

lol sale won't last long gang, so best to get in early!

and all vinyl in the shop is on sale, multipacks obviously going to be a bit more but its all on sale, fark if i eat any more dutch christmas (oops i mean VW birthday) cake i think im going to barf...

The only thing is my copy of Alive is like Larry Muntained to the MAX the A side its screwed...but still plays fine so meh. And give me that copy of Air For Life ive changed my attitude...

Melbourne people are very lucky to have an establishment such as VW/Store DJ. Walked into my local today (DJ store, not pub, however I did go there after) and asked the guy there the exact same question I asked marsh when I visited there. Whereas marsh and I had a 10 minute discussion about the pros and cons of Stantons vs Technics, this guy sort of looked at me like "yeah". Its a bit disconcerting when you walk out 2 mins after entering having heard his entire sales pitch for the Stantons, which consisted of "yeah, they've got more torque than the Technics and some other stuff. I'd just get the Technics". Couldn't even pry more info from him. Pretty obvious he a) had no idea about the stuff he was selling b) probably had never even used the Stantons. He didn't even try to sell the Techs.

(Don't worry guys, I only went in to hear their opinions on the matter)

Heaps of new records in the shop. Brand new Armin Van Buuren single is here (vocals by the girl from Iio Rapture), as is the latest from Purple Haze (remember adrenaline/push off? if you were at Obsession II you would, as Citrus dropped em both!), new blank and jones, remixes of marcel woods' advance, and heaps more. Gobs of choons for those not afraid to go below 135, either - the killer 'my name is courtney' ben and I have been hammering is back in stock (pornbomb!) as is the mylo remix of freeform five's no more conversation.

We've even got a very limited supply of a few cheeky advance promos on some of your favourite labels (In Trance We Trust, Black Hole, Armada, etc) for those interested in being a bit ahead of the pack and able to make it into the shop over the next few days. No firm eta on the next round of advance anjunabombs (they're rush delivered straight from the pressing plant) but we'll post up when we know.

i remember checking out the Specials section and buying $8 vinyl
