ahh something different there jolz.. i like the psy inspired intro, but the break sounds too uplifting to fit into a psy song so it kinda throws me, production wise it sounded a bit empty in some place so either some fx over the top or some eqing to bring all the other sounds out might help..

well to be honest my friend doesnt listen to psy
i liked the intro aswell, kinda looses it around the 3min mark

I find the bass to be a bit weak, it doesnt really have any substance if you know what I mean. synths sound good! more percussion is definately needed but i gather you haven't got there yet as this is only a sample..

cool start.. not that im a producer but i reckon it would be good if you could hear the background synth a bit more and as jace said the bassline needs emphasis as well. Other than that its sounding fine - original is definitly a masterpiece, so pulling off a really good remix will be a tough job!

Yeh thats the idea j�c�. The original is a melodic driving track ( as you know ) and my belief is when someone remixes a track, that there should always be a different feel to it, not just a carbon copy.

Ive done a few versions, different mixes of what youve heard... and I agree the bassline needs more work. But that can be easily rectified with a bit of tweakage

I enjoyed the original so i thought i'd have a whirl too. it's the only track i really enjoyed of missy higgins and it's a kinda main room prog sorta mix. Nothing too special throughout it, just a decent energy and atmosphere.

Absolutely awesome. I don't like Missy Higgins much at all normally but I love the vocals in this. It would be a brilliant track as an instrumental but the vocals add something special to it. Great job. Any chance of a higher bitrate mp3?

i like what uve done with the vocals but I think they could do with a tiny bit more low end, maybe even try add a mid frequency delay on non eq'd vox to give it that whispery feel.

ghostface, i think a 320kbit version is in the process of being uploaded somewhere? so you could grab it from there whenever that's up and running, otherwise you could add me on soulseek and grab it off me there. user is 'Lew.D'

jace, will have a look at losing a bit of the highs.. the low-mid has really blatant piano in it which corrupts the bassline, but i'll have a look at adopting a mid-freq delay.
