The stands are rock solid, i didn't tighten all the bolts up very tight and when im using the jog the cdj doesn't move at all. I have no experience with any other stands, but i would highly recommend these stands if you can afford them. I needed the extra space as i barely have enough room for my laptop on my desk, so it was well worth it for me, if you don't really need the extra space then im not sure if you'd wanna spend so much on the stands... No complaints, well except for the price

Feel free to ask any other questions you have, i'll be happy to respond to the best of my knowledge.

Thanks for getting back to me about the stands. The info is greatly appreciated. Just a couple more questions if you don't mind. Are you able to take the dustcover off the turntable without moving the stand or do you have to swing the stand to the side in order to take off the dustcover? And I can't tell that well from the photo but is there a lot of clearance between the bottom of the stand and the top of the turntable? I am just curious because I am wondering if there is enough space to access the turntable platter properly or if having the CDJ over the turntable hinders your access to the platter in any major way? Especially let's say if someone uses their turntables for scratching. Thanks again for the info!

I have never had to move my cdj's to use my turntables, i can still easily adjust the tonearm counterweight and take the dust cover off without moving the cdj, you can order longer poles from spacetek if needed, but the ones that come with the stands are perfect height.

Ahh, I doubt it. You do realise that the huge fuck-off silver cabinet in the back center of this setup is a bassbin...

Do you always tilt your head like that when you take pictures?

It took him ages to find out his best angle man. Don't ruin it.

Also, don't question a college kid's budget.

I have the MK3s and a Xone 62 connected to a pair of Mackie HR824 BUT I don't think you got my point. Instead of wasting money on the EQs, sound enhancer and etc (Regardless of the brand you bought) you should have just spent that money on a better pair of monitors if good and true sound is what you are after, if you wanna be a hardware junkie that's your choice. Perhaps you should read more about studio monitors and learn their purpose. Good luck.

agreed.

Originally posted by palm these things dont even exists in our kind of music so its worthless using money on something like that for us. Go with PA-equipment. yes it has bass, but not the bass we want! the only thing u will find out with this system is that edm producers are realy bad.

- I listen to much more than just EDM.
- I'm sure this thing still puts out a shitload of bass, whether or not you think it's too accurate.
- The reason I was referring to bass was because the guy who commented after you was postulating that the audiophile system wouldn't have as much of it.
- I don't see how listening to EDM on an accurate system will reveal that EDM producers are bad... this makes no sense to me

Ryan that is absolutely amazing. I love the Visual effects projection idea. Beautiful setup m8.

Posted by Ryan0751 on Nov-01-2007 19:02:

Thanks. I came up with the projection by accident, left my screen up in the living room and noticed it perfectly went abouve my DJ setup. So I just turn it on, throw in a visuals DVD, and it's party central

pretty sweet, what did you use for the cdj / effects holders? I am looking to make a similar setup when my new house is built.

Posted by Ryan0751 on Nov-02-2007 17:51:

I built them out of 1" pipe nipples and flanges and plywood, then painted them black.
