and more and more I understand why the rest of the US didn't like you New England guys.

that hurts on two levels, ass...

first, for saying such things about the greatest QB or all time...

second, I'm not the typical new england fan, I've gone over this many a time in the MLB thread about Red Sox Nation, etc... so I won't go into it...

You think I don't want Ainge and Doc out... EVERYONE DOES, but guess what, we don't run the team, so.... we'll have to wait till the Chinaman get here, and when he sucks dick(because HUGE expectations in Beantown for ANYONE), then they'll both be gone... until then, ODEN or DURANT were the one thing that would have made life with Ainge and Doc not such a bad thing... thats why everyone is so upset, we got the TWO dinks running the team, we were looking for that hope, didn't fuckin happen....

bottom line is, you guys are fucking stupid!!!

if your team was set up with the 2nd worst record and got the NUMBER FUCKING FIVE pick, you'd be upset too... yeah ITS THE LOTTERY, but you know what, thats fuckin bullshit when we get the absolute WORST case scenairo, I'm sorry, but BULLSHIT!!!! So I don't even want to FUCKING hear it... you guys are fuckin assholes... and that's my basic argument at this POINT...

thanks

at least you didn't have a prospect of potentially handing over a top two pick for eddy curry

actually, it was the #9 pick...heh. Best deal ever.

Posted by shaw on May-25-2007 21:32:

also, I don't feel any sympathy for the Celtics for three reasons:

1. They tanked as deliberately as anybody could have. It was a joke. They didn't even play their shitty starters.

2. The Red Sox and Patriots are already good. Boston has enough other teams to root for. You guys can deal with having one shitty one, too.

3. I just don't like Boston fans, and I'm sick of having to hear about the teams they support. I hope they do draft Yi, 'cuz he's gonna be this year's Darko.

on subject with Boston, 1 start is to get rid of Ainge and Rivers. Next is to get rid of trash that costs too much. Imo, they have a bright future with Jefferson, Rondo, and West, but they have a long way to go to reach playoff status. Lastly, they should ease Pierce's miseries, and let him go/trade him. There are many teams that would love to have him on their team.

Argument is WEAK because the Blazers had the worst record last year and finished with the 4th pick, the worst case scenario as you talk about above. They dealt with it and made 6 draft day deals to net Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Alridge. Plus, as we've all mentioned already, when you tank games... fortune doesn't have a way of coming for you.

agree with that, its time for Paul to walk... he's held out long enough, and they haven't been loyal to him... trade him to the Mavs and get it over with!

go spurs( zzz ). one more game.
anyways, i would like to see a spurs-cavs matchup for the final, but most likely, it's going to be pistons-spurs.

Posted by verndogs on May-29-2007 05:52:

the flopping by manu tonight was just ridiculous. hell, the flopping this season has reached catastrophic levels. the NBA really needs to address this issue in the offseason. maybe give a T to someone who's blatantly flopped

having said that, the poise of the spurs shined in the 4th quarter today

we're on our way to a pistonzzzzzz-spurzzzzzz finals

Posted by shaw on May-29-2007 06:33:

flopping seems to be more of an international thing. I blame soccer.

spurs in 6. duncan is too dominating, the pistons will have no answer for him.

Posted by shaw on May-30-2007 00:22:

cavs ain't done yet, folks.

Posted by LeopoldStotch on May-30-2007 13:31:

if the cavs want to win this series, they need to steal game 5 on thursday. there's no sense in giving it to lebron and having him win it all for them. the cavs need to punch the pistons. pull some hairs. do some low balls. at least show the pistons that they're not their bitch, because although detroit and cleveland have split their games, it still seems detroit is controlling the tempo of the series. cavs need to play dirty to win against detroit.

Unhappy

Anybody who's been on the internet today or watchin ESPN today, you already know that Kobe has demanded for a trade during his interview with Stephen A Smith, while also coming out with the REAL explanation of why Shaq was kicked out of LA, and Shaq later said "I believe Kobe 100 percent," O'Neal said when reached in Los Angeles. "Absolutely. There's no doubt in my mind Kobe is telling the truth. I believe him a thousand percent." So we now know Jerry Buss is a complete FUCKTARD and his head will be asked in LA this summer. You really think he'll be traded...give out your trade scenarios!

Lakers Recieve:
Ray Allen & Rashard Lewis

Sonics Recieve:
Kobe Bryant

Oh yea..."Sonics owner: Hope fading for future in Seattle"
This is gonna be a longgggggg day

Posted by Shook1 on May-31-2007 01:46:

Rasta

I think its natural for Kobe to dump the blame on everyone else (Shaq situation, rape accusations, "we're not winning so replace the GM" garbage). Kobe made the bed he is in now so lay in it!! I think nothing needs to happen and Kobe should quit crying.

Posted by shaw on May-31-2007 02:14:

As long as he doesn't play for the Bulls, I don't care. I don't want to have to boo my own favorite team.

Posted by LeopoldStotch on May-31-2007 03:21:

spurs(zz) wrap up their series. now awaiting the cavs-pistons.

as for kobe, if boston ever decides to let go of paul pierce this year, and kobe is on the trading block, this could be a very active offseason this year.

yeah paul pierce looks past his prime, but he could play key minutes for a potential team that needs a 6th man, especially someone who could take over 4th quarters like ginobli.

Posted by shaw on May-31-2007 03:36:

spurzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
zzzzzzzz

Posted by Kapedano on May-31-2007 03:55:

lets go spurs! we deserve it!! 4 more wins means 4 rings bitches!!

Posted by shaw on May-31-2007 03:58:

yeah, no.

Posted by Viber on May-31-2007 20:12:

Oh man i hate the Spurs, whenever they're on Top the league is boring.
I wait for the day they will suck completly and every team would run them over.

But First i want The Blazers to beat them in the western Conf finals for the championship.

and also yay for us winning the draft and Memphis losin' it

Posted by medinaM5 on May-31-2007 22:03:

spurs winnin championship, 100% sure kobe aint gettin traded, c ya draft day

No way Spurzzz lose the championship. They are a juggernaut. Boring as snot but a juggernaut nevertheless.

No way Fakers trade the only revenue source in Kobe Bryant. I see them trading for Jermaine O'Neal or something perhaps. Mitch Kupchak is an idiot. Caron Butler (stud) for Kwame Brown? Yuck!

Blazers will be a juggernaut in 3 years! I see them trading Zach Randolph to get a small forward too. Be that in the draft like Corey Brewer or someone else.

I don't think Pierce is really past his prime just yet, he was injured last year for the first time. He still has a good 4-5 very productive years left. His game is never about high flying acrobats.

Kobe would never land in Boston... besides, I want KG in beantown, not a rapist!!!

Paul Pierce past his PRIME???

no fuckin way, if he stayed healthy, he would have put up career numbers, he was the only reason the team could win a game this year....
