Bandsintown announced a Digweed Boat Party on Mar. 22nd. Weird thing is it says Location: Coconut Grove, FL. No tickets available yet.

yeah that's his annual cruise.... saw the flier somewhere. Nick Warren,Jozif, a few others. i don't think tix are usually sold publicly for this, are they?

Not normally sold to public. You have to apply to be on their mailing list when they open it up around August.

Managed to get on last year with a friend's ticket and e-mailed promoters to get on this year, was offered two tix for this one. $200 a piece. I just said I've seen him a billion times and played the groupie card.

Can genuinely say it was one of the top 3 parties I've ever been to in my clubbin' career. The vibe is just so amazing and fun. They always release the full set which is testament to all that, imho.

Catered with some incredible food and of course open bar.

edit: it sets off from somewhere a little farther north on the Beach, I think maybe a bit past Fontainbleu. I don't remember. Cabbed it last year.

Its brutal, horrible and as stated much much worse then 2010, Cameo as well. Just a bunch of assholes.

Is 'let me do a line of tina right off the turntable' Jonathan Peters raging anywhere yet this year? Or Rauhofer? ))

Glad I could help. I asked all these same questions a few years ago when I moved here. I've been to most venues minus LIV, because I hate what the place stands for.

Oh man I loathe that place, refuse to ever set foot in it, for many intrinsic reasons.

Kind of digressing but all this WMC talk has me so freaking excited. Remembering Deep Dish at Space circa what? '05? man goosebumps....

I'm imaging both Space and the Pickle are going to be extremely crammed, both of these nights.

Still such a dilemma though which to attend. Doing the Never Say Never pool party on Saturday and can't decide Prydz at Space the night before or Hotflush at the Pickle afterwards. Ahh!

Never say never looks like a great party

*edit* in other words - do the DJs listed play both the pool and club? maybe 1? maybe the other?

Or when they'll be releasing tickets for those parties as well... Would love to confirm Luciano pool party there on thursday.

Posted by StereoPrincess on Feb-22-2013 18:58:

Does anyone else think that this Luciano at Story will be the WORST party of the week?

http://wmc.wantickets.com/Events/122634/Luciano-STORY/

100 dollar tickets for guys, already sold out.

40 dollar tickets for girls, still going strong. With medium chance of selling out.

like a girl going there is going to have the worst time.

guy tix started at $60.... and they are doing that on purpose to keep the ratio okay. i'm not worried at all

PS - this also forces guys to buy tables which is what the owners want anyway...

no. girls vs guy tix is the norm and these places are always packed with hot biddies. plus, lucien is going to kill that sound system.

I don't think I follow your logic. Guys tix are sold out, yes, but like you said the girls' tickets are medium risk. We can safely say those will sell out too. So there's a bunch of guys AND a bunch of girls there. It'll probably be closer to 50/50 ratio than just about any other party because of they way they're doing the ticketing. It's great to keep the female/male ratio even but it's terrible in a financial sense for us guys due to high ticket prices, lol.

Instead I'll be at the Solarstone/00 Fleming party where the ratio will be 75 guys / 25 girls. Lol. But a bunch of cool TA peeps will be there so who gives a shit.

lol. i wouldn't worry if i was a guy. i am looking from the girl's perspective.

well, what i imagine this place will be is a bunch of super fucking douchy guys (who over paid) with a bunch of retard girls that don't know what the fuck is going on. basically the worst crowd you can ask for.

I'm about ready for this next month to go quickly. My ADHD always gets really, really bad during this time of year due to the excitement of the parties. Sick of checking these threads over and over again! Lol
