As promised, here are some pictures :

2x CDJ800MK2
1x Xone:92 Linear (Mixer)
1x EFX1000 (FX Processor)
1x HDJ1000 (Headphones)
1x PVDJ Grabber
3x RoadReady RoadCases (Mixer + CDJs)
1x Space-Tek Universal CDJ Stand (for EFX)
1x Sefour X10

Now I need some KRKs but I don't know how to place. An expensive solution would be to get 2 others Space-Tek stands and put the KRKs with the cdjs below them...Any ideas ? I could also make custom stands because home theater stands are usually 80cm high when I need nearly 120cm minimum...this would be less expensive but I'm not very good at handwork.

Neo Hacker man...

I think you're turning into a bit of a gear nut, lets hear a decent mix of yours before you continue buying so much stuff!

That looks awesome! I love the pic of it in the dark!

Paid about 100$ instead of 300$ at pssl.com (it was a big promo)

I'm very satisfied with it. I received it few days ago and have been very busy this week so I haven't been able to mix a lot but so far, I find this little device to be very cool !

how did you route your pvdj grabber? contemplating picking one up but i really dont like the idea of going through my headphone jack. would rather use the send/returns on my mixer.

i think i can answer this one.
i bought a redsound soundbite xl maybe six months ago. back then i had a vestax pcv-175 mixer which does have sends and returns on it. my initial idea was to hook it up on the sends. however it didn't work as the sends are post fader only, so you'll have to have the fader up for the sends to send anything on that particular channel. then i thought about hooking it up on the headphone jack as advised on the manual. this didn't work either as the sound coming from there was way too quiet and i couldn't get the levels to match on the mixer no matter how much i boosted the gain. so i had to crank the headphone level to ridiculous levels to get anything with loud enough sound to be sampled.
i was rather pissed off.
then i found out that the xone:92 has aux sends which you can choose to be either post or pre fader, so it would work great with the xone. i had been wanting to get a xone:92 rotary for ages anyway and now i had a great excuse for getting one. so i got one and hooked the soundbite on the aux1 out and the input on the 3rd channel of my xone. works like a charm now. and i suspect that Neo Hacker has it hooked up like i have.
so i wouldn't advise on getting one unless you have a mixer with pre fader sends.

Well this blows donkey wiener. All the channels on my Xone:3D are bleeding. Basically, if I put them all down to 0 they bug and bleed through to the point it's like having the fader at +10db, but when I place them about a millimeter away from absolute 0 they stay mute. Weird

Not that it's my every-day setup, but here's pics of a DJ booth a buddy of mine and I built in my house, and of the party that came as a result of it.

We didn't get the cops until 2 AM...haha.

^ I know I'm begging for my buddy A.J. to get Photoshopped in that last one... haha.

^ The garage...smoking area.

Here are pics of A.J. and I constructing the DJ booth.

I wish I was invited to your houseparty.. Lasers, moving heads, .. really nice indeed!

Thanks guys!

Wish I had videos from that night... all I have is this shitty phone-cam capture of me testing the laser, which doesn't do it justice at all.

Wow, awesome setup. What's the make of that laser and how much? I bet it was pricey.
