AHH sorry robbie, I thought I had something between those dates..

I have the 18th, 21st, and 31st of July.

Let me ask my partner who I split my season tix with, if I can arrange something do you want'em?

I think she's sellin them $20/each so $40 for the pair. Seats are GREAT for picture taking..I promise lol!

I have watched Matsui play for the last 3 years almost every Saturday at Yankees Staduim, not include the random weekday games I have seen and I can honestly say, as many NY fans, that when he's on in Left we are covered.

In reality though I just wanted to be a bitch to you because you seem to think you know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING and EVERYONE and in reality you are just a complete asshole to everyone.

anyone who thinks matsui is solid defensively doesn't know how to play left field, POINT BLANK!!!!! Sure he may not have many errors, but no outfield does. Plus stats don't take into account misplays. Also, just watching the game doesn't give you the entire insight into how the position is played. So your view on his defense means shit.

If your referring to me knowing everything about baseball, I won't back down from anything i've said on this thread. i know more about this game than 99% of people. I don't only know the fans perspective but i also have years of experience playing the sport. when you've amassed 23 years of watching the game, and 15 years of playing the game, then you can tell me how it's played.

If your referring to other threads, get a clue you troll. You should really refrain from being a bitch because you don't have much to work with.

jerZ I agree with you 80% of the time and I agree with you entirely about Matsui..And in my opinion I think Matsui and Sheffs innability to shine in left field and first base prevented us from progressing in the post season...Melke can play that position better than Hideki by a long way,,although i prefer Matsui's bat..
You're right jerz your knowledge of baseball is vast...........But,,,and it's a big but...Phuzzy is neither a troll or a bitch.....

you're right about melke. Note i think he's batting .350+ this month.

I should clarify my last statement.....i left the language ambiguous because that's how i do. Troll was specifically used in terms of how she doesn't contribute substantively to baseball discussions on this thread and she posted a comment to elicit a response, and not in the mythical beast sort of way. Although i will admit, that was part of the fun of keeping it ambiguous. Secondly, i didn't call her a bitch, she said she was a bitch and i gave a reason she should refrain from being one.

Anyway sir,,lets get this back on topic...Who goes where??...I'm happy with everything at the moment but when Damon returns back to full fitness where does Melke fit in..I hate seeing him sat on the bench,,the guy needs to play...Melke to left,,Damon to centre and Matsui????..

Thanks Steven!!

Sorry for the out burst its just you know he get to the end of your rope with someone and you have to just let it out, and regardless of stats Matsui is one of my favorite players and he is still a great player, maybe not the best but he is good and deserves some respect for that.

the real problem is what happens when and if giambi comes back. We can platoon the 4 outfields amongst the positions and DH. When Giambi comes back then there is a problem because torre won't play him at first everyday.

i'll admit, as i have on several other threads, i can be somewhat abrasive at times, but for the most part i am simply messing around.

When it comes to anything i say about baseball i can and will back up my opinion with facts. If it turns out my opinion is wrong i have no problem admitting that. If you like matsui, that's great, everyone has a favorite player. But if you're going to attack me because i don't think he's a good outfield, then you should have a valid basis for your attack. Such a valid basis doesn't consist of "i love him" or "i have watch him play for 3 years". Those are just statements, not factual statements that could lead anyone to an opinion.

I have to agree with you on that one. Melke is the future of the Yankees.

I can agree with you on that...ALL OF THAT!!! For me it was a personal hit this time and granted I don't have the facts at hand but I am one of the more educated females on the board when it comes to baseball...you caught me at 9:00 AM...never a good time

i was specifically responding to the matsui comment, but you're absolutely correct. For the most part i try, but as with everyone, sometimes emotions can get the best of you.

not a problem....hopefully now when you watch the games you'll notice some of those little things i pointed out. it makes you appreciate the great players that much more. Andruw Jones, Vernon Wells, Jim Edmonds (back in his heyday), and Torii Hunter, these are some great outfielders.

I'd add Rowand to that list. That guy plays with reckless abandon in centerfield. He'll run into anything out there.

ERic Byrnes too, just not too sure if they are great. They both play with 120% all the time.

didnt help...i'm sick of hearing people trying to tell me that the NL is better than the AL...I need stats to prove them wrong..This years so far will do..I can only go on performances by Red Sox and Yankees at this point...

Sorry James,,saw it..And this proves by a long way which league is superior...
