It's almost better when you can't see what srussell posts, you just know nobodies with him and he's still here.

Because I'm admittedly too busy to read through all of the longer rants here and am only noticing comments about his parents paying for everything and shit when I skim through it. Summarize your point in thirty words or less.

Nou has the full ability to get a job where he can be a man and provide for himself. He chooses to live off his parents.

The way I'm reading it, it's more along the lines of, "He lived at home while supporting his mother, now he is getting parental assistance while he goes to school." How is having your parent's help while you go to school any different than what a sizable chunk of most kids in this generation are doing?

Well that's just the way you're reading it. It's really "he failed at something, his parents bailed him out, he continued to live off his parents for years, and now they're still footing the bill and even giving him a monthly allowance instead of him getting even a part-time job to support himself while he's in school." It's not that he's spoiled, it's that he over-indulges in it, and his personality reflects it. This entitlement mentality is why this country is full of a bunch of utter twats like him. It's like in America everything skips a generation. Nou's dad is a success, Nou is a failure, if he ever manages to find someone who can tolerate him enough to procreate with him (doubtful) I'm sure their kids will be a success too because they have to. They don't have successful daddy spoon feeding them until they're 30.

What does it matter to you how he lives his life? Why do you care so much?

Where is this caring coming from? It's annoying having to read his posts. It's annoying seeing him talk about going out to eat or going out and doing this or that when you know his father is paying for it. He's just an annoyance who should just disappear, take responsibility for his life, stop living it on the internet, and grow the fuck up.

I don't care that he leeches off his dad. I'm not his father. I care that the internet is polluted with his inane bullshit constantly, like he has any authority to comment on anything whatsoever besides coding. This kid would literally get in arguments with people over money management when he doesn't even pay taxes.

Nou you still going to school? Is this for your GED? When are planning to graduate? You're getting up there. How old are you?

I did have him on Ignore for a while, but he posts so heavily and people quote his responses so frequently that all it was effectively pointless. I am 27, its undergrad. I have credits from when I was 24 too and went to school for a bit. For my associates I have about a year left, just over credits wise if I do 15 credits a quarter. I am thinking about doing 20 credits this coming quarter though and through the next year so I can transfer as soon as possible. I don't exactly know what I want to do yet though, as CS seems pretty pointless to go to school for since I already know pretty much what a CS education will get you, and I have experience to boot. I have done professional programing and freelance programming for almost 11 years now and its not exactly been the most fun thing, despite myself being rather exceptional at it.

I understand where you guys are coming from with your view of his personality and your insistence on not using the ignore feature. However, I am nothing if not surprised at your inability to simply not give one shit of an iota about him. I can think back eight or nine years ago and people were still having the same argument with him, so what do you intend to accomplish by giving him the same shit time and again? Going after Nou for living off of his parents is just as bad as people who go after srussell just because they think that he is annoying and devoid of any sense of humor.

It's an internet forum, his life should mean absolutely nothing to you, and you should treat his posts just the same. But hey, if you want to continue to flog a horse that has been dead for ages, I won't try to stop you.

Don't beat yourself up. His life is a car wrecked it's hard to resist the temptation to take a peek out of morbid curiosity.

I never said I was entirely happy with my life either you idiot. A lot of assumptions here in this thread.

Anyways, glad I have such a fan base of pathetic people that apparently hate my posts so much but can do nothing but engage me time and time again. I guess I just draw out the crazy folk.

Also I really don't spend that much time here as I used to. This account has lasted longer than the Nou account and has far far far less posts. Half as many posts as Nou in twice as long a duration.
