Yes the Thunderbird Arena and Thunderbird Stadium are an important distinction. The Deadmau5 show is all ages INDOORS at the Arena.

I wonder where the promoters are in this city? He has a Montreal (w/ Digweed) & Toronto date.

S and/or D are pretty expensive to bring. Even the biggest promoters in town are cautious about bringing them. Main cities in the East are always a given, but far West is always a gamble.

Rather bring Sharam who is working on his rock star status.

Sasha/Digweed have always brought big groups in the past. I don't see it as a problem. I remember going to a Digweed gig on a Wednesday night thinking it might be dead but it was packed tight.

Anyone see Dubfire last night?? I was there, wicked time for sure. First hour and a half was a little bit boring but at about an hour and a half into his set he started dropping darker mental tech tracks that totally kicked ass. Great show. I didn't recognize one track he played, but thats the best way to listen to shows, when you are thrown into the unknown!!

I was hoping he would play Stranger to Stability, which would have knocked me off my feet.. guess not though!

Dubfire

Great show last night - he was (sorry, pun) on fire last night, compared to the show he put on 2 (?) years or so ago @ Celebs.

He played quite a few tracks from the Exit Essential Mix that he tag teamed with Hawtin. The track that separates that mix from the Magda/Locodice portion was also dropped. What a great tune.

A few unexpected tunes as well, namely the Jaxx's Flylife being dropped towards the end.

And then of course, Controversy.
