What the fuck.
I'm shocked. Speechless.
damn.
they smothered korver and rose...
wow.
wowowowowoowowowww
I need to see those last 2 mins. FML
I thought we were going to lose so I started packing :x lol
I listen to ESPN radio every night when I go to bed, and the guy has been saying the past few nights that he doesn't think Miami will lose another game the rest of the playoffs. I can definitely see that happening now...
As much as I like Dirk, I'd also like to see Miami win it all just to silence all of the Heat haters, and to make that cock of an owner of the Cavs eat his words. I've always liked Lebron, and he deserves to win one. If they win it this year though, I can definitely see a few more in their future, especially when they can add a few more key role players to their lineup.

Sounds about right.
What's scary is that this is the worst Heat team we're going to see for the next 5 years or so.
Right? I mean if there is a season next year. People have been saying it all year about how you can't just buy superstars without supporting role players and win a championship. I guess they didn't realize that two of those superstars are Dwyane Wade and Lebron James. Jesus it's like having Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan on the same team. I do think it's a testament to those guys' characters that they were able to actually mesh as a team though. I definitely respect Lebron for his decision (not "the" decision) but his decision to leave Cleveland to pursue playing on a true team. People try to fault him for abandoning Cleveland, but they forget that they had since 2003 to build a team around him, and could never muster better than a slightly above average point guard as a supporting cast.
Dirk to the Heat in 2011-2012!
I might be able to process this tomorrow.
Maybe.
Just silly.
Really hoping Miami wins the final. Lebron's past due for a ring.

Originally posted by 84th Ave. cant argue with that, cavs had alot of time to do something and didnt. I just dont like how wade pretty much asked Bosh and Lebron to come to miami. after the trade happened, i saw an interview with MJ, he said: 'In my days, i wansnt calling up Magic, Bird, Isiah to join my team...i was trying to beat those guys." The NBA is not what it used to be, and MJ is the greatest!i want to have his babies

Originally posted by srussell0018 Yeah, but these days a lot of players are friends before they get to the NBA, or through other avenues. Wade and Lebron and Bosh all played on the Olympic team when they won the gold medal. Why wouldn't you want to play on the same team as your friends? There's plenty of other people to be competitive with.

Originally posted by The17sss In the 90's, there were 6 or 8 teams at the bottom that were absolutely atrocious. We don't think about it because the teams at the top were so awesome. I think the distribution today is better. Every major market has a good team at the same time: Boston, L.A., NY, Chicago, Dallas, Miami. There was a 10 year period when Boston and New York sucked huge balls, and the NBA was worse for it.

Interesting read on Phil Jackson.
Uh oh! Scottie Pippen today:

"Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to ever play the game. I may go so far as saying LeBron James may be the greatest player to ever play the game."
We'll see how they stack up when their careers are both over, but if he keeps up his current pace, I think Lebron could be just as good as Jordan. He's matured a ton over the past year or so, and he's still in his prime. I could see this Heat team winning multiple championships for sure.
Jordan is obviously the greatest player ever, but LeBron is a physical freak. He's a freight train whose defensive ability is just unreal.
In my eyes, he is the most complete player in the NBA right now. And probably for years to come.
Also, I still cannot believe what I saw last night.
