updated mine by adding the custom shelf in the back:

finally have a place to put my laptop and cd binder.

equipment is still CDJ 800's and a nuo 4

looking to get an AUDIO 8 DJ from native instruments for traktor.

edit: in case anyone is wondering, the vintage amplifier there is pretty much for aesthetics and to bring my laptop up to a more comfortable working level when im sitting in front of the booth

Posted by Tony Morello on Jul-06-2008 14:38:

boo, hook it up, it will probably still sound as good as the day it was bought, gear was made to last back in the day

make/model?

analogue VU meters FTW!!

The cords are all slack enough behind it that it slides right out on top of the laptop for easy use.

The pictures I took with it out didn't turn out the best, but here are a few that will kind of give you the idea:

Awesome set up! I bet that mixer is sick!

Smiley DJ

I have been reading these forums for ages and I have never really posted on here..My original profile still works, so I figured I'd post a pic of my set-up....now let me go find my camera....

MacBook Pro 2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (2GB/250GB/8600MGT/SD)
Allen & Heath Xone 92
2 x 1210 M5G's
Serato Scratch
Ultrasone HFI-550 Headphones
Yamaha HS80M 8" Powered Studio Monitors
Yamaha HS10W Powered Subwoofer Studio Monitor
G-Drive 1.5 TB External Hard Drive

MacBook Pro 2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (2GB/250GB/8600MGT/SD)
Allen & Heath Xone 92, a knob jumped off the mixer, getting an new one
2 x 1210 M5G's
Serato Scratch
Ultrasone HFI-550 Headphones
Yamaha HS80M 8" Powered Studio Monitors
Yamaha HS10W Powered Subwoofer Studio Monitor
G-Drive 1.5 TB External Hard Drive

I had a black desk that broke during the move to my new place, it made the set-up cosmetically pleasing...I'm on a hunt to get a new one that will accommodate my second laptop (ableton live), midi-controller, along with the possibility of adding 2 x CDJ 1000MK3's...

I'll probably have updated pics in a few weeks...

A rotary DJM-3000...It's actually in *mint* condition and I should put it up for sale...I actually forgot about it until the move brought things out of the woodwork...

i mixed on a 62 last week end, i'm not a big fan of eq curve. are they different on 92 ?

does this iskin for mac is big enough to prevent "stupid, drunk, high" people's glass from destroying your laptop ?

Well, I've only mixed on a 92 and 3D, so I can't vouch for the 62's EQ curve...It does have a 4-band like the 62...

The iskin prevents the keyboard from getting dirty from stupid, drunk, and high people's grubby fingers...that's about it.

Pioneer DJM700
2 Stanton ST100

2 Mission speakers + 2 Mordaunt Short speakers powered by old but very loud and trusty Technics amp. Also, not shown but Infinity Kappa Perfect 12" Sub powered by Tannoy Sub Amplifier. Quite loud for bedroom setup.

Nice. Are those the white or ghost slip-mats?
