I think it's this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9vxCwUBnmA

And I guess it would be Oakenfold's last track as well, the one into which Armin mixed talk.

he played it twice? You sure? Doesnt sound like a track he would drop twice. I am guessing you are looking at the 'time created' stamp on those files to see when it was played?

Can you post all the oakey vids you have?

The actual files, and not youtube? It would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly I would like to, but the videos are all big files and I don't have the time to upload them all. I have ~50 videos.

I'll see what I can do re: the same track videos.

Also I know it was played twice because the first video is a breakdown while I was behind him the VIP lounge and then the second is when I was in the crowd.

Great time, ran into a few TA's Ive never met, wish I could remember your names. Managed to tough it out till 8am with my better half, before my back and legs just gave out. Great party I must say, lots of room to dance, especially if you werent up front. But Oh My Lord was it hot in there, soaking wet by the end of the night!

Even though the sound quality isn't that great for the video of This is Miami, it still makes me so friggin' mad that I wasn't in Guv to hear it!! My biggest regret of that night was not going to see Sander!

Not to gloat or anything, but that was the best 5 minutes of my life! Well at least on Thursday

TOo bad the video didn't catch the screen when it said "This is not Toronto"

Posted by starsearcher on Apr-20-2006 17:43:

Yeah Sander was absolutely crazy...I missed Oakie and everyone now says he was incredible...but I just couldn't leave the room

+1

I was FRC going absolutely insane

Posted by starsearcher on Apr-20-2006 17:45:

The crowd was going crazy when "This is not Toronto" came on

By the way, how amazing would that be if Sander created a version of the song for every city ...So that when he played in TO...it would say "This...is...Toronto" like he did in Miami I think i'd lose it completely

Yeah thanks Lisa. Right from the first time I heard that track, I was like I would die if I heard Sander play it, then he did and I missed it, fuck.

Yeah I said the same thing. I mean if Guv erupted when the track said "This is not Toronto" could you imagine what would happen if he did edit it so it would say "This is Toronto"

lol, almost everyone had thought of that, and hoped a "This Is Toronto" version would be played at Decadence. I was really excited, waiting for the peak of the song...only to hear, "This is NOT Miami!" Not exactly the change we were looking for but it was still awesome.

I loved his set - and the whole night period - great tracks - great friends - the minor flaws/technical diffs just add to the organic experience of this awesome party IMO.

LONG LIVE DECADENCE!

WOOT!

I agree, was it as good as last years Decadence? I would say on par, cant wait for next years.

When I first saw the thread for this song I was thinking "man the song isn't THAT good" and Cale was going nuts about it. We went in to see Sander, and only me Petty, Carney and Andrew stayed and were dancing by the speakers. That song came on and I was like "OHHHH SHITTTT....Cale's gonna be pissed he's missing this" Not only that, I completely fell in love with the song. I guess I just had to hear it live. The screens were fucking INSANE...and I agree...imagine if he played "This...is...TORONTO" instead of "not" Toronto...woah i think the rough would have been blown!

Personaly I thought this was the best Decadence of them all.

I had one problem with Decadence and to explain this problem i give 3 words:

GOLD

DANGLING

STREAMERS

by the end of josh gabriels set ppl were burning those things off with their lit cigarettes...

i remember at last years decadence they had those really nice sheer curtains kinda flowing around... those were nice! and out of the way! not right on the dance floor!
